When your muta count is higher : If you have +1 attack and your opponent has +1 carapace, it's like 0/0 muta fight but your count is higher. If you have +1 attack and he has +1 attack, you destroy him faster because of your muta count. If you have +1 attack and he has nothing you kill him faster. Now, if you were going for +1 carapace : If he has +1 attack, the fight is like 0/0 muta but your count is higher... If he has +1 carapace, because you have no +1 it takes you longer to kill him... If he has nothing you're killing his mutas quickly but you take less damage. So, except in the "my opponent has no upgrades" situation, it's better to go for +1 attack when you're really ahead in muta count. Now, why pro almost always go for +1 carapace ? Because it's really safer, especially when your muta count is almost even with your opponent's, and it prevents a lot of dmg. | ||
