So many banes O_O
from alll sides...that couldn't have been a better spot for RorO to roll in

This map's size is fucking ridiculous.
I mean I get that the early maps were too small but this... you can place 16 steppes of war into it.

man I always get SO excited when I watch TvZ!!

You can pre split sure, but one misclick and everything you have just dies. That's the issue, there's no way of ever stopping being chain fungaled once it's happening. you have ample siege tank range to go on. that was a terrible mistake by mvp and he paid the price. Because siege tanks attack air and prevent broodlings from hitting them? They can't hit infestors when their aggro is on broodlings. I do think chain fungaling should be fixed. Like each iterative use last less time would at least be a nicer fix. You do realise you can manually target with your siege tanks right? It's a pretty damn basic skill that you see in every ZvT. You should be targeting the infestors yourself. I agree about the fungals. Not in the way you say though, just get rid of the damn root which everyone knows sucks and has been saying for months. Sure. You should be splitting your vikings, focus firing with tanks, leap froging tanks carefully splitting marines all at the same time. I've never heard of anybody leaping frogging tanks during an engagement.

yah would've taken like 3 more minutes for keen to slow push and remove ALL the creep. he was probably afraid of the mass infestors that were about to come up after scanning the pit. rofl at how long it takes to actually clear creep and roro didnt even have that good of a creep spread. zerg will always have perfect vision to make the right decisions

Waxangel has Roro beating Keen in the group write up, let's see if he's right

Feels like Roro is just playing with his food at this point...

Taeja should have one too though, he probably had the most dominant run in SC2 history. In GSL finals? 3-4 nestea 0-4 Mvp 2-4 Mvp vs 2-4 jjakji
Oh right, I forgot about the Nestea one. And thought Leenock took 3 games off Jjakji.
Well.

Haha I remember them saying the same thing about Keen before, that he's improved a lot

I dislike non-Leenock Zergs for rarely using baneling mines :/

You can pre split sure, but one misclick and everything you have just dies. That's the issue, there's no way of ever stopping being chain fungaled once it's happening. One mistake and you loose all your mutas to thors. One mistake and you lose your half your army due to forcefields. This game is all about your opponent making mistakes and how you take advantage of that. There is a weakness in the analogy of muta vs thors and fungal vs anything Firstly, clumping mutas vs thors is a mistake that is much harder to make than getting caught by fungals. And this is why you hardly ever see it happening whereas these "SICK FUNGALS" most viewers here are so fatigued from seeing Secondly, infestors are mobile and often burrowed, thus should be present in nearly every engagement, thors have nowhere near this mobility so for example with ling/bling/muta even if thors are nearby, it is just a matter of angles of attack with muta, you split your thors for better coverage and they can even get picked off by mutas. whereas against something like BL/infestors the fungals will always catch your army due to their mobility, and the infestors can even be spread really thin across a siege line and get one big fungal off and then the others can come over and finish the job off. Fine, it's harder to control units vs. fungals but my point still remains.
perhaps you are trying to make a point that wasn't in your post, as you just simply stated what i assumed were scenarios you felt were just as unforgiving as fungals on vikings/anything. in particular you mentioned thors vs mutas as being an unforgiving mechanic, but now we agree that this isn't the case.
Oh and Mvp vikings were all caught by a single fungal, so it's terrible mistake by him.
one fungal to catch the units, two fungals, three fungals, same thing really, fungals have a huge radius and a decent casting range, it's rare to ever need to have your infestors really far away from each other. anyway it's only the first fungal that counts, is the issue with the mechanic. thor shots don't lock the mutas in place if you make the (rarely seen) blunder of putting a clump of mutas in range of them for a split second.
