Yeah my use of the word timing was probably not the best. What im trying to say is that I find the 3 CC builds to be too passive. As pointed before, 2-2 timings dont work, endgame is just stupid, so when are you going to push out?

I would edit this out, I think they don't want to see that in here
Ghosts would have been a huge investment and i don't think they would have been worth it as they die in every battle since you could maybe snipe/EMP 1-2 queens but not micro back, because they don't have STIM. They would have been good against infestors as well but I'm not sure if microing, sieging, moving back and forward, sniping hatcheries, scouting didn't occupy enough of Ryungs attention.
If he goes for cloak and emp and snipe as welll... well we'll find out in future games, as Ruyng will definately learn his lessons

random thing I noticed when doing the game length stats on liquipedia, Byun won both the longest (1:32:06) and shortest (6:06) matches of the up and down matches

You don't need 20 ghosts for crying out loud, make a few to EMP the infestors / queen. They're a supplementary unit, not a mass a-move unit.
The queens and infestors are behind the zerg army. Kinda hard to get up close enough to emp anything without having 30 banelings explode into you. So whilst ryung may have wasted 800gas on a few ghosts and thus much fewer tanks and amrauders, theres no way the ghosts wouldve been any cost-effective whatsoever.

And who knows if he would have been as successful? I'm just saying were I ryung and I had seen what LosirA was doing two games in a row I'd have changed it up and used a Mech composition. That unit composition, Baneling/Zergling/Infestor/Ultralisk/Queen just doesn't work vs a Mech army and if I was going to go out 2-0 I'd rather have it be to two different strats than the same one twice.

Of course ghosts would have been good, Losira had most of his Queens in a pile (hard to spread off creep) so a few EMPs would be wonderful. Queens are also psionic so snipe does bonus damage. Ghosts aren't good because they're 2.5x more expensive than a marauder that can't kite. You have to get a sufficient number of ghosts to build energy before you can really do anything with them (same problem as ravens minus infrastructure concerns). If ghost was 100/150 cost it would be much more justifiable. Ghosts cost way too much minerals and have limited aggressive potential. Ghosts cost too many minerals? I thought they cost too much gas? Then terrans complained and blizzard changed it. Make up your mind...
No one ever complained about Ghost's costing too much gas. Ghost's were heavily used in 2011 until they were nerfed into oblivion. Get your facts straight. Terran has too much reliance on minerals that go to other units. Ever notice most terrans have an excessive gas bank? They can't spend it on anything unless they have a few starports with techlabs. Ravens aren't good against ultra compositions.
