I can't believe you're getting such a pass for saying something like this.

Typical bronze-diamond terran hero who dies to chargelots alot cause he can't stutterstep. Of course he's going to love it.

Some people can recognize talent, most can't. Or they just don't follow as much SC2 as they claim.

I personally am proud of my predictions with regards to ByuL (since his GSTL Fnatic appearance) and Life (since his online bonjwa status).

I miss the Korean weeklies so much. I knew how good Life, Taeja and Hack were before everybody else did.

Hey I knew Life would win something big in the mid 2011.

:D

Whoah he just got out-hipster'd.

Sadly the interest for such tournaments is simply not there anymore. Not that it was that big to begin with. 99.5% of the community only gives a shit about you if either 1. You get hyped as fuck by Artosis only to disappoint forever or 2. You're already a well-established LAN winner.

;;

I wonder how popular Nestea would be if he didnt have his personal cheerleader. ^^

3 GSLs are still 3 GSLs, the problem is that most people don't seem or don't want to understand the fact that most of the opponents he played were just bad at the game. Consequently they've dropped out of GSL altogether during 2011 and are now either retired or playing other games. That's really the only major instance of bracket luck making a huge difference I can think of in SC2 other than MAYBE Jjakji's run.

This is completely unfair to Nestea.
Sure these players fell of now but back then they were the best, otherwise they wouldn't have been there in the first place.

He's just being retarded, Nestea has proven his worth just staying the hardest league of all more constantly than any other player.

Thank you for ignoring my argument. I'm sure if GOM agreed with you they would have never changed the old Code S seeding format. Stay classy fanboi-san.

That helped me when I jumped from laggy/stuttering HQ to EHQ.

Bomber fighting! So close to getting back into Code S! The showdown between him and Byul should be fun.

Not saying it proves the contrary either, but these 2 are quite evenly matched in terms of skills imo, but out of them Stephano seems to have a much better mentality which makes him a more consistent player over time (that's just my opinion though).

Stephano is 10 - 6 against HerO

source : http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/details.php?section=sc2-international&type=players&id=222&part=games&vs=Z&league=standard&map=any&from_year=2010&from_month=1&from_day=14&to_year=2013&to_month=11&to_day=24&action=Update#tblt-4443-1-default-0-Stephano

Well Stephano's best m-u is ZvP while HerO's best m-u is not really PvZ (at least he's not specialized in it as Stephano is for ZvP). Anyway we'll see how Stephano does in GSL, afaic, I think Stephano and HerO's level are close

HerO was known for his PvZ until recent, no?

His PvZ has not been very good for quite some time..

Lol, as any protoss PvZ actually...
Edit: *except PartinG of course.

Yeah, nobody left with good, solid macro PvZ. Parting does show flashes of brilliance but mostly just immortal all ins. Can't say I blame him

Creator has some good 3 base timing builds.

The best I would say. His 3 base timing is so fucking well optimized (i dunno if its the correct term btw) that a lot of
players copied it (including Rain).

you watched PL yesterday the Rain match?
Even Rain didnt made a moderate misstake, I just couldnt see any chance of attacking.

Rain > Squirtle in PvZ imo since it's about killing zerg before hive and Rain is pretty good at it

Also, HerO can still go to wildcard, yes?

I like both of them. I hate seeing HerO cry/sad, but Genius kinda needs this due to new team, and the fact that this might make him practice which means someone who can be top 8 in this Code S.

I only saw the first game of the U&D (took quite some time though..).

Did HerO get exhausted from the first game ?

well even Oz does well

He's not that bad at it but an ELO of 2042 is not what I call doing well. At least not enough to be among the best players in the world.

Oz would be best against Leenock tho, 3-0 last month and some MLG win before that
