I was expecting Stars to win the two first games, but I believe EGTL will win at least three of the next maps so it should go to the ace match.

How about Jaedong not realizing his units were trapped in his main n_n

Now you guys have me interested. Time to TLPD because I really didn't watch much of hybrid league after the first couple of months.

Yup. Every exchange was good for Soukey. Trading Roach/ling for Colossus (and retaining corruptors) is exactly what he needed to do. Corruptor vs colussus feels so underwhelming as a spectator An epic duel between two of the most boring units in the game. and dumbest, stupidest as well

not a crazy amount but he had like 800/400 when soulkey got his 4th mining. 2/3 more gates to add stalkers to main army every warp in cycle would probably of won him the final big engagement

That's the weird part, I only saw his minerals go above 500 a couple times. I'm still confused about that game.

records records, You are praising zero who is a well known choker in ZvZ because he has good stats in which he got most of his wins off of poor ZvZers like hyvaa?
Off the top of my head, Great, JD, Calm, Effort, Hydra, Soulkey they were all better ZvZers. Historically speaking, there would be a lot more. Stats don't say everything. I would never have confidence if Zero was sent out for a ZvZ ace match.

he went 9-2 in zvz in 2012
in 2010/2011 he sometimes chokes when it was zvz in the ace match and that always stuck with him even when he was beating everyone late 2011 and 2012

He went 41-7 in the MVP invitational and made it pretty far into GSL last season. Both more recent and more indicative of his current skill level.

Great has funky ZvZ. Modesty has surprisingly good ZvZ

Wasn't Hydra doing well after jaedong started to lose his magic in ZvZ

I think JYP just spent too much on harrasment. It looks nice and pretty to have units in your opponents mineral line and good drone kills... Doesn't really help you though when his army just comes and fucking kills you
Also I've been thinking for a while now that 80+ drones is kind of over rated. I could be horribly wrong, but I don't think it's that great to have that many drones. You can mine pretty damn efficiently with like 60-70 drones and have a much bigger standing army? Again this is just theorycrafting in my head I don't know the actual numbers etc. So my main question to some higher level players. Is the income from those 15-20 drones worth the hit in your army when you're on 3-4 bases?

The times when he would forget adrenal (much like Savior often seemed to do before him) were always so much more painful. Maybe not quite as losing in game 5 of the MSL finals because of no dragoon range, but still pretty damn painful.

Nothing on the Koreans side of MVP invitational impressed me.. As far as the GSL thing, I don't follow GSL, so i didn't know that :D. I just don't like Soulkey, but yes, i've learned from my mistake.
