Anyways, hope egtl stabilize soon. I know EG doesn't look at performance in players, but what puma executed in fricken proleague doesn't look good at all. It's Korean territory, these things aren't forgotten, ever.

No wonder this the reason why player like jaedong, flash, fantasy, bisu were hailed in BW..

You really have to tell these players, JYP, Zenio, PUMA, Huk, and Thorzain to step up their game. Their play is horrible and losing (like they have no clue) to people just switched over to sc2 is pretty pathetic. I don't think they play to win anymore, just did it for the hype and publication. I think they are not used to playing the Proleague format, where it is BO1. Team league format for SC2 is generally the Winner League format, which is different. Single game that can be prepared a specific build to snipe the opponent is very common here. Also, after the first match, they did not play so bad and losing 3-4 to strong teams like CJ and Stars is not that bad. Yeah, they need to step up if they want to go into the playoff, but at the same time being too critical to players now is not helpful.

No wonder this the reason why player like jaedong, flash, fantasy, bisu were hailed in BW.. Jaedong, Flash, Fantasy and Bisu were hailed in BW mostly for their OSLs, MSLs and WCGs victories. They also all had gosu records in SPL, too, but that's not why they were hailed. Sea was a monster in SPL yet he is far from being hailed like the others.

Yeah, they need to step up if they want to go into the playoff, but at the same time being too critical to players now is not helpful. I think people will be very much surprised come Winners League. While the other SC2 team leagues do follow the format, the format was never fully taken advantage of in terms of preparation by foreign/eSF teams because the focus on a team league was never strong for most teams (except SlayerS early on). Their idea of a "sniper" is fielding a player in his best matchup on a favorable map - Proleague teams' idea of a sniper is to have a player prepare for a week in advance to snipe one specific player on one or two specific maps and only do that. While in PL format players find out who they're going to play against 2 days before the match, in WL format players can be delegated all of their opponents the moment schedule is released. There's a lot more homework to be done in WL format, and I don't think EGTL players are the best at doing homework.

Jesus christ give them time, the season is long and honestly I am happy to see them sweep a team and only lose to 2 others by 3-4. That's really close, they just need to choose their aces better or something to that effect. But lord man you are way over reacting lol. Thorzain his very first match was due to jet lag I guarantee it, his second match I don't think he practiced enough on the map and I dunno if he has played a third. JYP has won, I don't know if puma has, zenio has won, I mean jesus it's not like there has been a ton of games yet.

It's even OK if their true ace takes a while to emerge. Which is why I don't understand the point of playing JYP, if you're going to gamble, at least put somebody with a good chance of ace potential in the hotseat, and give them some experience. rofl... Not to call JYP bad, but he's not even top 4 in EG-TL, and not even the best protoss. Stupid, loss deserving move.

Questioning choices when you have no idea what they had planned is kind of silly, especially considering his performance throughout the rest of PL.

You guys don't seem to read the fact that I said JYP is a good player, but he's not even top 4 in EG-TL, and not even their strongest protoss. Sure, they might have thought they he stood a chance with some special turn of events, but that still doesn't make it a good decision to send him out. You're saying that they "planned on the other team falling into their trap" rather than playing a player that can actually beat anyone on the other team. Play try fooling around with HerO - JYP stats. You think JYP's PvZ is better than HerO's? I'm not even a HerO fan, but come on guys... be smart about this....
