I think he is getting back in shape. Surely he did not impress anyone at HSC, but he still manage to do fairly well compared to just a few months ago.. Also i think at one point Artosis said that people should not worry too much about a slump like MMA has right now, since apparently players like July would slump up to two years during BW. And more than anything you have to keep in mind that the SlayerS team house may not have provided the best practice environment for MMA during the last months before they disbanded. | ||

He clearly WAS legend back that day, anyone who said different was simply an ignorant person. This permanent harassement on 2-4 different locations at once without mistakes, and still winning the big fights, his control of the game. Maybe he wasn't considered being that good, cause the game wasn't that much figured out and so many players flamed around of terrans being imba, i dunno. But MMA was like was life is today: ahead of the time, life is actually the first zerg i see with proper harassement, and micro. | ||

Fortunately for MMA, his issue doesn't seem to be age (poor Nestea) or injury (poor MVP). It just seems like he is rusty. Very very rusty | ||

Pro players only beat non pro players 75% of the time, compared to 90% for TvT. | ||

Like so many Terrans, he now plays with a losing mindset versus Zerg. Even if he is still interested in SC2 (I know he says he is motivated but of course he will say that), it'll be a long haul. If he's over SC2, there's no hope. | ||
