It's wrong to say "situations like this". Every game of SC2 is different and so is every situation where the game suddenly ends. What is the needed is the feature coming in HOTS, where you can continue a replay and play it from there.

It should have been a BO3 and a regame, due to precedents set by other top tournaments. I accept that this is HSC so slightly different and the BO5 with 2-0 up was an innovative and cool idea, but letting themselves be pushed around by Xlord like that is complete garbage. The player should NEVER influence the decision of a situation like that. Only the plays he/she made before lag should. Even Stephano thought he'd lost. Come on, be serious, that game was over - even the pro Zerg players thought it was over.
Nah man, I respectfully disagree. It has to be beyond reasonable doubt and they all said it wasn't. Another point, 2 out of the 3 zerg pros are still in the tournament and they have incentive to let Xlord through since he is perceived as the weaker player by them. I don't blame Xlord for arguing for the win, it's his right as a sportsman to do everything he can to win but the admins should never be swayed by this.

He was forced to take it in order to avoid the shit bat drama that was already happening there. Did you even watch the stream? Yes I did, and no I don't think Stephano was forced to take it, the situation already escalated terribly since they didn't go off stream to discuss this.

well tournament just got a lot more exciting! drama all over the place

Except Dimaga & Snute.

Stephano looks angry...i think MMA's gonna feel his wrath!

Hate the game, not the players. Although Xlord could have been a little calmer getting his point across. I think I'd be kinda mad if I were in Xlord's position, about to beat "The Stephano"

Pretty nice behaviour from Stephano who gives the win away to Xlord... who then call him bm.
The staff was about to accept the proposition to give 2-0 to Xlord and go on a BO5 since no one wanted to vote, Xlord then explained he had won a non finished game while Stephano wasnt saying anything. Xlord calling him bm when Stephano accpeted to give away the win deserves apologies to Stephano.

Alex Garfield's Twitter @supimreallycool yes, it should, @MonsterGaming. expect zero EG players at homestory cup vii if they don't finally use admins. casual is cool, sloppy is not.
Oh damn! Not good! Not good for EG indeed. What is Alex thinking? It's all about exposure and not the actual results.

How do you call that football minigame on english ? the thing they are playing. They are quite bad lol.

The game was in xlords favor big time, like dimaga said maybe 80% to 20%. Yes there was a chance stephano could of won, and its unfair he has to take the loss. but it would of been even more unfair to give xlord a regame when he had such an advantage.
Its a hard decision, only person to blame is really bnet for not having lan.

XlorD aggressively moved forward, to the point of potentially being fully in TLO's space.
Sure, he should get the win. But he could have been a little less in their face about it.
xlord was watching and just defended his point after take asked if it was ok to make it a bo5. which he didnt agree with.

Tournament ends for me here, this is not a competitive Esport. way to make yourself look like an idiot. You must have missed Riot's last Season Finals.
I have not seen a single LoL game so far in my life so I probably missed that too. But I know that they are devleoping a LAN version to fight this, unlike Blizzard who doesn't give a shit about the fans when it comes to their piracy paranoia.

Lol, Stephano phoninh his manager and lawyer right now ^^

Hopefully I can catch the VODs later to catch that drama right? Missed it.

Plenty of games like that where the opponent turned it around and won instead.
In a mirror like zvz? Where one player has more bases, better tech, bigger bank. Yeah maybe in zvt its a comeback, but I doubt it in zvz.
