All he needs to do is go home and he wins. However he didn't know that before watching the replay
Oh ya i didnt think about the fact that it would allow xlord to know exactly what steph had... fuck well nevermind.

Why would they even allow the players to attend the discussion? It made zero sense.

xlord had a lead but its not definitive he was going to win since he could screw up a few engagements although usually the zerg with the bigger bank in zvz wins which was xlord. I don't blame him for arguing for his win, I'm sure he felt he was in a really good position in that game as well.

It says a lot that Xlord does not believe he could a single game of 3 vs stephano after "winning" 2. It also densifies the theory that stephano wants to play MMA badly now. I don't think anyone wants to risk having Stephano go on a 3-0 run against them... it can happen very easily. I don't blame Xlord at all.

Discconects are an issue that affects ALL PLAYERS, which is why noone should be granted a win if the game isn't over by an enormous margin.

Who cares, Stephano is just going to beat MMA now and Xlord and Stephano meet again in the Finals.

One of the worst tournament. Starting from terrible video quality and now this idiotic decision... Players should not be allowed to make that decisions, its only up to admins. And it was not 100% clear that xlord would won. It happens when best players mess up in easiest situations and make stupid shit in the game, missclicking etc. and xlord is not the best. Thats idiotic 2-0 and organizators of that tournament doing realy poor job... clearly undeserved win.

Stop judging pros for claiming their obvious wins. They are in a competition. Insulting people? Could you drop any lower? Obvious win? You don't even play this game Ok, no 2, but 3. Wow... Keep up at it. If you think this game was a 100% won then I don't know what to tell you. Actually the game was 500% win since it's always 5-0

Unless there are black on white rules about this situation Xlord has the right to question an extension to a bo5 that is a subjective decision.

flash vs. jeadong blackout situation was not even as decided as this game - in this light, it was the right decision

i dont know kev, was this game really over?

Tbh TaKe making a decision would be so biased considering how close he is to XlorD...

Really? I'm going to assume this is sarcasm. That was one of the most hotly contested decisions in SC2.

How were there not rules set up in advance to deal with situations like this? How many times does this have to happen before that becomes standard?

Yes, many people were complaining about the regame. It was a very controversial decision.

exactly, this 100%. admins made him look bad because they didnt make a decision. end of story.
