Don't be mad at XlorD I was the one accepting him to take the win ! what a man. so, i am even less impressed by Xlord now, that he hasn't said. "cmon dude, lets regame and may the better one win"

He got some points in my books aswell. As there was little arguing in the background (when he said gratz) i completely understand that both of them are quite frustrated, but hey its blizzard bnet so anything can happen.

XLord was much further ahead than I think most people realize. ZvZ is a game of very small advantages, and I would say XLord was over 99% to win it. Calling for a rematch would be unfair, it's hard enough to beat Stephano, he should not have to do it multiple times.
However- this tournament looks EXTREMELY unprofessional, randomly making up rules on the spot, asking casters to vote on what should happen... give me a break. You need to have set rules in place for a situation like a disconnect, and not just "oh shit what do we do, anyone have any ideas?"

I already didn't like xlord, my opinion doesn't change. I hope Stephano smashes him once he practices ZvZ a bit more.

that discussion was just stupid ... it should be insta-regame in situations like these
|
how can you hate on xlord? its so obvious the player wants the win.... just sincerely imagine you are in his shoes. sucks for stephano tho obv.
|
i think it was the rigth decision. Not for the viewer, but of the facts. As all mention, xlord had a massive lead and he show in the last game, that he bring that to a win. In my opinion is xlord reaction normally, what you will you do in his situation, as you see, you win that game 90% sure. REspect at stephano, that he give finally xlord that win...

Mad props to Stephano too. Big winner is Riot though, once again. Blizz big loser. Tournament ends for me here, this is not a competitive Esport. way to make yourself look like an idiot. You must have missed Riot's last Season Finals.

Snute's idea seems to be the most fair, give the 2-0 lead to xlord and make it a bo5.

This is awesome,, makes things so much more exciting.

No, he deserved to be ahead. He earned his lead in that game.
I don't see any argument for how you could call that a WON game though.....

I think it was pretty clear that if you are going to lose from that postion you had to fuck up pretty badly....
Put on a fucking break though, and let the admins decide with some input from zergs....Having that arguement while on air was no good for xlord or stephano=/

true ... thats actually a valid point ... players that are still in the tournament got to decide ... :/

Don't make the fucking players make the decision. NO ADMINS TO DECIDE? Voting would have been even more retarded.
Like TLO said it's not even near sure who would've won. This started to feel so god damn unprofessional.
Also, XlorD seems to be a dick. Well not like I'm surprised, but it's 100% sure I'm never going to like a player like that. Swearing and screaming "I WON THAT GAME LOOK AT IT", seriously? I don't like Stephano that much but jeez, at least he had the balls even though it was wrong as fuck.
My good mood is over and I'm glad I didn't buy the ticket.
You would rather have some random admin decide than three professional zerg players?
|
I think Stephano could have gotten the Bo5 with Xlord 2:0 up. It says a lot that Xlord does not believe he could a single game of 3 vs stephano after "winning" 2. It also densifies the theory that stephano wants to play MMA badly now.
