Build a pylon or a gate nope.....why would anyone make 30 lings and not just 15 then.
You realise that you make the pylon/gateway upon the first ling touching your probe (which can only be hit by one or two lings at a time, because it is on hold position in the gap). The 30 lings are already made at this point.
Still a tough hold after that because they might break your wall even if they didn't go roaches or banes. Need to make a sentry and drop another cannon or two, and make a secondary wall...

well anyway that game was hilarious, and good demo of how scouting the presence of a 3rd doesn't actually tell you anything about what zerg is doing.
no gas this game. awww. i wanted to see it work twice in a row.

Can't believe people are arguing against the effectiveness of probes walls against lings. I thought Hongun showcased it against Fruitdealer in the open season.

Did you see my post? ....................................
I also get the feeling that you had a pre-formed hatred of these kinds of allins and you feel justified by this lol

blizzard should introduce a 3rd race. it'd be a real innovation.

I saw it. I don't hate these all-ins, I love them. 3 base fake into cheese is basically the only thing I ever do in ZvP on ladder and it is hilariously effective. At one point, I was winning all my zvps and shot up the ladder so that I couldn't win a single zvt or zvz because the players completely outclassed me (but I was still beating protoss with the all-in).
So I've been wondering why we see it so rarely in the pro scene. I get excited whenever it happens.

surprisingly seed and rain are playing kind of worse than MVP yesterday ;_;

Also ZvZ hasn't been bad for the past 6 months, and it has gotten incredible in the last two months.
Huge emphasis on micro early game, huge focus on engagements/positioning late game with actual spell-changers but not being imbalanced(infestors), eventual crazy late game, focus on harassment, .................

Wings of liberty was part 1 of the trilogy, it's almost over so it makes sense for less terrans. Maybe when Legacy of the Void comes out all the zergs will be gone and we can have 24/7 PvP :D

Life really delayed his Spire, he could be in trouble.

Rain is playing like Huk.

Wow this is innovative, I love it! Reminds me of the first time I saw Leenock go double spire for muta upgrades.

I enjoy ZvZ a lot, as long as it doesn't get to infestor roach vs infestor roach. HOTS is looking very good for ZvZ too!
PvP is also fun to watch sometimes, much better than before. As long as it doesn't devolve into colossus vs colossus
