But it wouldn't have been that bad. It's pretty bad because the protoss can just call off the attack and expand after he kills those units.

There's so may "Z favored" maps in the pool, in a loser picks format, the Zerg seems to always have the edge. this is why kespa maps with their (supposed) imbalances wouldn't work in a losers' pick format. but yeah, that's how it works lol

But if you look at the game, it seems that Ts lose to all-ins much more frequently in their match ups. One reason is maybe the popularity of the 3 CC builds. It's not so much that Terran has the weakest all-ins, it is that the other races have better defenses/scouting/reaction. Protoss has forcefield and stalker micro to survive super early timings, and observer to scout and react to any later timing. Zerg has overlords and speedlings to scout any build, and the flexibility to react with larvae. Terran has bunkers, which are very good in their own right, but realistically any P all-in has an easy counter (Forcefields, Immortals, Warp Prism, Blink, Colossus); and any Z all-in has either banelings or very early roaches, or both. -- Also a lot of it has to do with the meta-game. Zergs and Protoss typically have not all-in'd Terrans, so it's hard to predict (also as I said, hard to scout) and Terrans have less practice reacting to all-ins. On the other hand, Terrans all-in all the damn time, so Protoss and Zerg have lots of practice scouting (because they have good scouting options) and reacting (because they have more flexible/effective reactions). Finally, on top of it being hard to scout and react for the Terran, it also just doesn't make a lot of logical sense for the Z or P to all-in in the first place, considering how strong they are in the late-game vs. Terran. It sounds grim, but it's just the way it is, and the way it has always been. It's not even a terrible game design, just frustrating at times (just as scv pulling and mules are frustrating). We'll see what happens in HOTS... but instead of giving Terran scouting options in HOTS, they opted for stronger defenses (Widow Mine).
