Every single map has a 1 FF ramp except taldarim and that's been fixed to wider because it's not a ramp.

Doa's analysis is pretty good for little casual me =P

It only worked because Best was able to distract hyvaa by harassing the natural like that. so what we're saying is that all maps are imbalanced? No, it means that this one is not imbalanced and the others are also not, a lot of zergs deflects similar attacks on other maps.

Most maps don't have that distance to the third... You basically need 2 armies to defend that...

so glad BeSt won that, get to see the good maps and Fantasy will bank some points. KeSPA maps are so sick, even if they turn out to be imbalanced they are still FAR more entertaining than Daybreak remakes in the GSL.

Jesus this doa guy.
The problem with hyvaa is that he placed his NAT in his 3RD SPOT.
If he placed his 2nd hatch in the NAT location, you need 2 ramps ff'ed, compared to normal GSL-WCS maps.
So basically is MORE BALANCED ramp wise than the regular maps.

I really dont have problem with mechanics...except unlimited selection.. but anyway..its just not good to see player win like that..because hyvaa had no chance to do anything about it

Which other map has a third that far away?

Erm.. Have you seen taldarim or any of the other temple tile maps? There's multiple entry points on all of those maps, at least 2 to the third.

are you kidding me? his main is closer to his third than most maps because his natural is behind the main. compare something like that to trying to spread your defenses on 3 base on daybreak or abyssal city against an attacking zerg.

Sounds like it's a good zerg map z_z

I'm not sure what the force field complaining is about in that situation, he actually had 2 hatches worth of production to defend the base that was being attacked because of the location of the natural. It's actually easier than defending a traditional main which is completely isolated.

why do people say "the map is not balance"? This is team league. You can use the race that have advantage in that map.

Besides that, he sent 4 stalkers to harass the 2nd from an crazy position... Oh well, it was just one game but i thought Best really seemed to know how to abuse the map. We'll probably see more games and one day we'll know for sure.

He didn't even lose his 3rd, and he had no units. So this point your making is moot.
