Regardless of whether Hyvaa could or could not have won on another map, that map was just bad for SC2. Bad.
You mean I just write stuff here and other people can see it?

Dont whine pls, its the same with every map with ramp, one FF and you block it. It was good strategy for this particular game.

1 FF choke like Daybreak, Antiga, Entombed, Cloud Kingdom, etc..... It only worked because Best was able to distract hyvaa by harassing the natural like that.

A player abusing map features against an unprepared player doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the map.

I'd rather watch interesting games than fall asleep during Daybreak / Metropolis games. -_-

Because the 3rd is just too far away. On other maps, you can at least keep some of the army at the main and still be able to reinforce if attack goes to the third. Not sure what Kespa is thinking with direct ports of maps from BW. Yes, new maps are nice but you need to test them first.

No they can't. Maps are drawn after teams have sent out their players.
They do that to make sure you don't get mirror matchups all the time because, for example, everyone sends out a P on Daybreak every time.



They knew the map list first, then arrange the lineups.

Hyvaa could have just as easily done a two-base muta or burrow-move roach oriented build and saved himself the forcefield silliness. The map is weird, yes, but no one should be taking that game as evidence of imbalance.

.... So you have to have two sentries in two places, instead of 1 sentry in 1 place blocking one ramp. This map is harder to forcefield than normal maps, period.

Why are casters saying this is abuse? Everyone knows you can do the sentry FF insta-win on virtually every map with a 1 FF ramp. It's just most Zergs nowadays are knowledgeable enough and prepare for it and shut it down quite easily.
