I agree about the stalker spot, but a 1 FF choke at the main is STANDARD in all maps. That warp prism attack would have played out the exact same way if it was on a map with a normal ramped main.

Well, to be fair, a 3rd for the Z at 8 min in a ZvP is playing wrong from the begining.
I mean if it would make you guys feel better they could make that little choke a ramp instead so it feels like any other map when you get ff'd out of your main?

nat and 3rd*, basically my point is that no maps have all 3 bases connected by 1 FF ramps

DoA has been barely ranting or complaining about anything today.
In fact, people have been saying DoA has been sugarcoating loses for players more so than ranting about anything.
Also if you compare to what half of the people here are talking bad about the maps every page, it's not bad compared to what people are saying here.
He didn't lose because of the choke, he had NO units. None, whatsoever.
*EDIT* I say this after watchign the recap. He had 3 infestors when this push came. I don't care what map between main and 3rd or between main and nat, your going to take damage if you have only 3 infestors vs an army that big.

Well ya, you just can't have terrain altering spells. It's too big of a can of worms to possibly think it can ever be balanced/good for the game. It's just easier to axe it, but that discussion isn't suited for this thread perhaps.

with rain you can pick two 1 pointers who will never be played and rain is indeed overpriced at 12, which usually means anti-team
Different strategies I guess. I think JD was the more glaringly obvious high priced anti choice with zenio/thorzain being an easy 2nd if you want to pick a 1 pointer 3rd.
by the way, i was only theorizing about rain on anti i myself went full T8 on anti
