There has been multiple posts explaining why because of Forcefield/Warpgate gateway units can't do anything but suck, because otherwise Protoss would instantly become completely OP. Which leads to the current state of protoss, kinda balanced, but all their matchups are boring and stupid as fuck to watch/play. Too bad Blizz' ego is too big to come back on those mechanics in HotS. | ||

Roro did some nice splits of roach/ling pressure onto Ace's natural and third and Ace just couldn't handle it. | ||

There are live reports in the OP. Game 1: First lost to marines. Marine poke killed about 11 probes at nat then later on more marines stimmed up ramp and killed first. Didn't actually see this game but assume first failed with his forcefields Game 3: First got 1/1/1'd. First defended really well on 2 base but there was a couple of banshees left over and he just couldnt gather enough stalkers to defeat them especially with PDD's being dropped by a raven. Was quite depressing to watch. | ||

Force field does not deny micro, it requires good micro from opponent both before and after FF get placed. Fungal only require micro before cast, and the ability to chain fungal put it on a different level. | ||
