I'm hating how much people are hating on finale, just cause he beat JD. As much as I love JD, he's just a worse player than finale. All there is to it. JD loves to make roach/ling and stay on it for a long time. Finale decides to hardcounter that with two immortal sentry all ins. People are just mad because finale is relatively unknown and jaedong is a legend that people want to see do well. If you swapped out jaedong with horror and finale with bisu i can guarantee you that people would be praising bisu's smart build choice and solid execution :p
I totally agree. Thus I'm hating on the ignorance lol. But I guess you really can't fight fanboyism with logic...I'm one myself

Roro would have been a better code s seed, but oh well. too late to do anything about it now.

Did you actually look at his Pro-League stats ? Yeah he had alot of wins but also a buttload of losses.

Gom didn't make the ranking system for proleague, blame kespa for that one.

Yup, even in BW he was on the downside. I feel like he's approaching the stage where Boxer and other legends like Nada and July were nothing more than mid-level players.

JD
I'm really sad, not because he lost, but because he really didn't seem very good there.

But most of his wins were ace matches which count heavier then regular wins. That's why he was ranked 2nd.

If it was an all in and he didn't kill the third (or at least I didn't notice it in the LR), then how did he end up winning by taking a third? It seems like that's just a pressure to force and kill units from JD and safely take his third to tech up to colossus. But it seems people don't want to give finale any credit...

I don't think anyone blames GOM . But in hindsight JD was seeding was not really deserved considering how strong some of the other Kespa players looked.

Yeah I'm not one of the people saying he got invited for his "name", I know the reason him and rain got invited. Maybe it's just that I don't like Code S seeds in general. :p

Finale just became the number 1 hated player on TL :D No, to me he is just confirming that all his results in teamleague are no joke. And btw, what's the point with all the forcefield's whine ? We are back in 2010 ? Yes! Because there were still no changes and they are hurting this game by preventing micro. Like Fungel, but I guess no one will listen and the mods will simply warn me -.- This is still not a good reason to whine in LR threads. Moreover, forcefields have been figured out a long time ago, they prevent a player from microing if he got caught, but actually I think they force micro since zergs have to flank, bait forcefields, drop on sentries or whatever the counter you chose.

I still give a leg up for JD compared to the other Kespa players played today. JD needs some more time to practice. I have a feeling that he will shoot up once he develops his 6th sense.
|
JD hasn't been JD in years guys. I doubt he will ever be back.
|
Jaedong has lost his mojo 1 year or so ago. Need to get it back from Dr. Evil.
|
To clarify im happy JD got beat up, he needs to rethink his way of playing SC2, you can't happily copy Stephano, add some counter attack and DO THE SAME THING always.
Smart move by finale, Jaedong needs some beating, those type of players play better after some loses because that way they learn. Earning miracoulous wins just gives a fake "fine" feeling. Im torn, i dont want to so mediocre JD i want to see 2008/2009 JD back.
