2008-09 JD will never be back, I think. But I don't want JD to become one of those veteran BW players on the verge of code A. It's better not to play at all, I want him to be among the best, but this is just, nah..

JD just need more time. Just wait and see

He already had a lot of time and his decision making still sux :/

Jaedong's been playing SC2 for about 6 months and is already in GSL Code A. You have probably been playing longer than that and you are nowhere near even being considered for a GSL. Really, I can't see how you can criticize Jaedong's skill.

You know nothing about me...
And I didn't criticize his overall skill but rather the decisions he made in those two games which is totally legit. And just to let you know: Jaedong is by far my most favorite SC player since 2008.

He's not even worthy of that nickname. DRG is the true beloved dong now.

For what it's worth, Jaedong was seeded into code S. He certainly did not deserve it, as well as he is playing, even if it was based off of Proleague results. A player like RorO was MUCH more deserving of his code S seed (and showed it). I am surprised to see Jaedong lose though.

On another note, who the hell is bbyong and how did he beat First (who was a recent BW pro iirc)?

A kind of unspecatcular but somewhat solid CJ terran. I don't really now how good he was because he was always fielded after Letan and Skyhigh and before that he was kind of in the shadow of Skyhigh and Iris iirc.
"To all eSports fans, I want to be remembered as a progamer who can make something out of nothing, and someone who always does his best. I think that is the right way of living, and I'm always doing my best to follow that." - Jaedong. /watch?v=jfghAzJqAp0

Sorry to say, but I'm pretty sure Jaedong has x1000 more fans than DRG and that's just in Korea.

Wow JD played like trash yesterday, kept running his lings/roaches around and looked for counter attack which didn't work at all. He could have turtle up in game 2 to hit 12' mark just like the roRO and pressure back much more efficient than this.

I'm pretty sure he said that because of the hole in his wallet from purchasing a now useless GOM ticket, and not because he cares what people think of his viewing habits.

poor jaedong still cant figure out how to beat this kind of protoss

It's not just JD. This immortal all-in is really retarded in so many ways. That's why most Korean zergs just go heavy on Muta and base trade (unless the map is heavily zerg favorable). To be honest though, I've never seen that many sentries. This all-in is a bull shit because once protoss gets 3 immortals and zerg still doesn't have the spires up, then the game is pretty much over.

God how did players like Vampire and Ssok made it through the qualifier? They looked awful. Vampire a-moving endless HTs to deaths was really mind boggling.

Maybe they were nervous by virtue of being new in the live setup?

Zerg needs to spice things up a bit. You can't play every ZvP like DRG does. Do a roach rush, 2-base muta/infestor, speedling opening, or whatever else. Every zerg just opens with 3 hatch no gas and just wait for protoss to make the move. It's lie most protoss simply doesn't feel any tension in ZvP for the first 10 minutes or so.
