He's a semipro...?
Nerchio is a student at University. He plays full-time during the summer holidays.
It shouldn't be about the lifestyle, it should be about the level of competition. Nerchio has been competing at the highest level of foreign competition for quite some time now. He is a pro, though maybe not a "full-time" pro.
.but you see the difference between his practice regim and gsl players one? or you think they should be measured in a same way...
Yeh I don't get the hype over a player who can only crush a semi pro 3-1. What a bad player. I mean if he was a good player he'd have won Four GSL championships, Blizzcon, WCG and MLG against professional Korean opponents. Maybe he'll get to that level someday.
Be fair. The crush in the last game maybe. But more it looked like MVP kept his level and Nerchio started doing stupid. And anyway i dont think you responded to proper post. I wasnt talking about MVP only. MC and Violet have their story with gsl too.

Engine is one awesome dude, I had once quite deep conversation with him about Thors and terran needing some type of big unit to break Zerg/Protoss deathballs. Really a friendly guy :p

I hope the next time when it isn't a League of Legends regional final to contend with they actually put more work in to the SC2 side of things. Disappointed, not up to usual IEM/ESL standards.
Watch the VODs of MC versus Kas. Those games were just nailbitingly incredible.
Which day was it? And would you happen to know the timeslot of the VOD? I like me some MC.
I've paid for the premium/hd stream and I'm quite happy with what I've got. Good games today, a great and tense ZvZ vs Violet and MVP taking down top eu zergs in a number of fine nailbiters.
I also like the videos section at the ESL website, I've cought up with Nerchio vs MC games this morning with ease. I liked the caster, the switching between Tastosis and Day9/Kealaris added nice dynamics, I liked the option to view the polish ESL stream for a change.
I think I've enjoyed IEM more than the other summer EU tournaments and I'd say that it provided me with more entertainment than recent Dreamhack, HSC and Asus ROG events.

check day9's youtube. he has them all broken down into game by game videos
Did they skip the 3rd-place match? I was lost in broken trains for the last 5 hours (originally planed to skip 2nd semi-final and 3rd-place match to watch the finals at home, because I had to leave at 18:34 at latest).

Mostly mech, some marine/tank. Transition to raven where possible.
The Intel Extreme Masters Cologne at gamescom are over. It was a lot of hard work in the past five days (and even weeks before) but also great fun. I hope you enjoyed it.
