As usual, don't player bash, don't flame, and don't balance whine. Failure to heed this warning will have consequences. |

What does that have to do with balance?

Well Nerchio not on the same level as MVP. Well I'm glad MVP won cause it's good for SCII that a guy like him win.

where all the mvp haters now? dude just wipes the floor with these foreigner zergs that are supposedly so godly, having to show his builds series after series and yet none of them can stop him. psh. all i see is bunch of zergs who rely on broodlord infestor to win every single game and when it doesnt work they insta-gg. at least stephano has variety and actual skill/gamesense.

If you go to the IEM replay website, it says map 1 map 2 etc but does not say the names of the players...is this ok? Will we still be able to download and watch the replays?

lol was just seeing vods only 6.5k usd ? does that even pay travel fees ? xD

Since I slept in a bit, I missed the finals. Just went and watched them. MVP's decision making, multi-tasking and battle management was so damn impressive. Seeing him win fights with a smaller army also while dropping and killing expansions, damn thats the MVP we all know and love.

On the other hand they gave money to every single player at the event. Even the players on the last place got 600$. You don't have a huge first prize that way, but for the players it is propably a nice change. Well not for the winner, but for everyone else it is

vortix was gonna win, and then MVP was all like, GANGNAM STYLE and pwned him

Glad to see Mvp doing well. Such a great player!

To see MVP keep winning tournaments like this is good for sc2, i think, because then its just not a random factor that matters the most, but instead raw skill with the game. Im sad that Nestea, and DRG, and MKP arnt as good as they were in their prime, but now when Kespa players enter the scene, perhaps they can take their spots. Im thinking Soulkey, JD, Rain, Flash etc, if they improve to get next to MVP in the top, it would also be very good for sc2, as that would show how similar the 2 games are when it comes to peoples skills treating the gameplay.

He does have a much better record vs MC than Stephano, but Stephano's TvZ I feel is much better. i agree on stephano still being cemented as best foreigner easily, but i dont think nerchio lacks mechanics at all compared to stephano. what i do think is that stephano has better "game sense" in a way that he knows what to do on the fly at all times. A tiny factor may also be that stephano simply doesnt give a fuck about anything, nerchio doesnt have nerve issues or anything, but hes not stone cold i feel. dno, both are extremly good, u also have to consider that Nerchio doesnt play full-time.
you mean decision making, not game sense?

Why is there never any news on the frontpage about who actually won ? Its so difficult to get proper info on brackets and wins. Guess MVP won after reading the top comments here ......

Alot of the games today just proved that there is alot more to sc2 than being able to make a big army and attack with it.
MVP's game-sense and patience/unit control (not flashy micro, just willingness to give up ground and take it when it favors him) provided him with far too much of an edge.
