As usual, don't player bash, don't flame, and don't balance whine. Failure to heed this warning will have consequences. |

Yeh I don't get the hype over a player who can only crush a semi pro 3-1. What a bad player. I mean if he was a good player he'd have won Four GSL championships, Blizzcon, WCG and MLG against professional Korean opponents. Maybe he'll get to that level someday.

I hope the next time when it isn't a League of Legends regional final to contend with they actually put more work in to the SC2 side of things. Disappointed, not up to usual IEM/ESL standards. Watch the VODs of MC versus Kas. Those games were just nailbitingly incredible.

Gg MVP can only win with cheese, even though he lost the only game he cheesed and won 3 macro games

My opinion is that the whole event was pretty good, some things might have been worse than before though, but my memory isn't that good so i can't really comment on that.. Rock-paper-scissors was a pretty cool idea.

Are the vods findable somewhere? I had to leave to do stuff just before the last game :/

We can only hope this IEM Championship can lead him to those types of things but let's not overhype him! I mean come on!

Open Bracket was stacked, Tastosis and Day[9] commentating does not come cheap. Last season SC2 was even more in the shadow of LoL. Not sure what he is talking about...

Actually, I think it was really smart for MVP to cheese in game 1. He didn't play any cheesy opening vs Vortix so there was a ok chance for it to work. And even if it didn't, it still made Nerchio aware that MVP wasn't afraid to be aggressive so he couldn't get greedy. And MVP definitely had an advantage if they were on equal terms in economy. That game 1 set the tone for the rest of the games.

Rock-paper-scissors was a pretty cool idea. Eh, I found it perfectly acceptable. I liked the postgame analysis and the switching off between Tastosis and Day[9]/Obi-Wan Kenobi, the music wasn't unbearably obnoxious, the games came fast and steady, and the video and sound quality were good. Only thing that wasn't the greatest was the host, but just mute and tab out and it's like he wasn't there. Everything went pretty great, in my opinion.
