As usual, don't player bash, don't flame, and don't balance whine. Failure to heed this warning will have consequences. |

That shit must be stacked dont you mean LG-IM's trophy case? i think the glass has to be exploding by now.
Well, Nestea and MVP had to take some of their home before due to size of trophy case. Then they got a new one. But with the Code S (Seed), IPL TAC (Team) and this one, it might run out of room again soon...

He was anywhere between awful and mediocre this weekend.
It wasn't great.
I think it would be better if he was more in character (of Jeremy). The problem is that PP was 7 years ago and a lot of SC2 fans will not know it, so they would not get all the references.

Kinda lame first place doesn't also get those goodies He won some community poll, it's not for second place. That poll is clearly foreignerist.
Nerchio did beat 2 code S players (Mc and Violet) + Inori, ForGG and Puma. That's a pretty fucking baller if you ask me.
+ giving the award to the winner is kinda retarded.

Kind of fun to watch but it doesn't seem that the metagame stabilizes in just 2-3 months, more like 6+ months. Because terran do? We still see code S players loose entire bases to ling counter because they didn't build depot-walls, get their entire army fungaled, their tank caught unsieged, etc.
The game is still far from being played at the highest conceivable level.

GSL S2, GSL S3, IEM, IPL TAC3 since signing with LG, not to mention the LG event looked like it had a massive crowd. I hope LG is pleased, because IM deserves a great sponsor like them.

Quite a bit of success the last few months, though I suppose IM was always fairly successful outside of team leagues.

WEll Nerchio played Great but he is Zerg after all, which permitted him to go far in the tournament!
Great series! Wish it was bo7 (or more)

So well deserved victory for Mvp. At next to every attack of the zerg players he dropped them and killed lots of stuff (sometimes multiple expansions). That often led to scenarios where some people (like me) thought the zerg attack was good but in the end it was pretty bad.

Great entertaining games, excellent casters + analysis, charismatic host and awesome award ceremony which respectfully honors the runner up as well as the champion. Good games IEM, will definitely be tuning in for the next one.

Nerchio is a student at University. He plays full-time during the summer holidays.

I hope LG dumps even more money into IM so their competition will take notice and also dump money into e-sports.

But I have to say, after watching him all Tournament. He's been the Best Host since I started watching Sc2 way back in Season 1. Great Job Jared! The way you structure your posts. Somehow grates on my nerves. Though I totally agree that Jared. Kinda grew on me. You are by far.
The meanest person in this thread.
And maybe today overall.
Love you though.

Why is it that only dreamhack can have a non-awkward prize ceremony?

Well played by MVP. It's really good to see him back in top-form after his slumping lately. Nerchio played well throughout the tournament too, but not at the level of MVP. The Nerchio vs Violet ZvZ was my favorite series of the tournament in fact.

IM really didnt perform bad at all during the team leagues. the coach made some bad calls occasionally but really that was about it. its just that everyone expected them to do so much more.

Haha, sorry if that came off meaner than I'd intended. Why would I be upset at the result? o.O I'm an LG-IM AND Mvp fanboy, it's pretty much the perfect result for me. :p

IM stepped up pretty damn nicely since signing with LG, the only thing they failed on was GSTL.
