Just learn to play the game. Just read the posts people who actually know what they're talking about have made on this. Starcraft isn't a game where you just summon good units out of nowhere, you have to consider transitioning to them, being safe in the interim, the possibility of your opponent techswitching etc etc So you simply ... learn to play the game...Thx . Yeah I'll take the advice of a trash poster who doesn't have any idea what he's talking about and doesn't expand on his points. I suppose if you tried to expand on them you'd prove your ignorance so one sentence 'learn to plays' help you hide your miniscule knowledge of the game. Stop crying ...if terran nowadays dont know how to play with ravens its ok ... at least someone knows and guess what ... hes MVP...so go back to your world where "Ravens are bad". Please tell us more about the incredible no split from Nestea which allowed Ravens to be good. Why would he split if he didnt even see the ravens before? ... That was all MVP strategy ... I don't understand. Terrans have been preemptively splitting vs all races for over a year. Toss do the same thing for emp... Air units are inherently much harder to split compare to marines, templars. Also, splitting also hurts your DPS since not all your corrupters will be firing and vikings can kite them back and make them bunched again. Can the zerg players do a better job? Sure. But it is not as easy as it looks. Oh please, do tell those TERRANS how difficult it is to split ground (marines, marauders, tanks etc) and air units (vikings) so they don't get obliterated by something like banelings and fungals. He's right on the air unit point, as a Terran player I'm sure you know what he's talking about. Terran bio, at least when you split doesn't immediately re-clump up in the same way air units do.
I actually wish Blizzard would introduce some kind of change to the way air units work in this fact. They can clump initially that's fine, but after you split them they should stay split a little more

??? I said air units, this means corrupters, BLs, vikings, voidrays, mutas, phoenix... Not a comment on race..

I love the insight of that post.
I'll give you a clue: test the range differential between Fungal and HSM.
Now apply that to a real game.

I assume this is an LR thread. And LR threads and balance discussions have a very long, cloudy history on TL.

It's not so much about raven being bad. It is more about getting enough raven while surviving until that point. This is possible only on maps like metropolis, atlantis spaceship, or sometimes whirlwind where Terran can have 4+ bases relatively easily. Zerg late game is very strong, yet Terran super late game is better than that of Zerg if Terran can manage to get there, which is usually very hard to pull off. That map + his drops bought enough time for that unit composition for MVP.

It's the bonus for the group winners.

The person who tops the group gets a seed directly into round of 8. Apparantly, for formatting reasons, they've decided to show this with a BYE, but I think you could show it in another way to make it less confusing.

It's the group play winner's advantage, they go straight to BO8 while the second and third placer have to battle it out in RO16.
