Only if you stack them up... Why is it so hard to split your units? People split their bio against banelings at that level, I'm sure they can split a group of ravens with little to no effort. Nothing will change if nobody tries anything new. You can't expect balance changes to change the metagame for the players every time, the players need to experiment.

you have to understand that marines are expendable and can be replenished easily. it's not wise to invest so heavily into a unit that has little hp and clumps extremely easily like ghosts and ravens.
