Really?
People are entitled to get 1/12th of their money back then. Or 83 cents.
Liquid simply isn't respecting peoples time or money here and in the end it is just bad customer service and bad business to do this to people. It is going to cost Liquid a lot of buys for feature TLS+ tickets.
Well they still get a shot at the raffle, still get the poster and still get the 5% at the store. And the option to watch it on Monday if they can if not to get the Vods.
So I guess prorate goes to somewhere between 0 cents and 42. Poor poor people.
There's noone going at a freakin Theme park anlysing the money they spend versus how many rides there is in the park and go ask for a fucking refund at the end of the day if they didn't have time to do one of the ride.
Could someone explain to me what TSL has to do with IPL, are there casters/admins/production guys involved at IPL that are needed for TSL? I am not watching IPL so I really don't understand.

But their expectations are in line with how much money they spent. They spent 10 bucks for something, and TL didn't deliver. It wasn't like they spent 10 bucks on a car and are complaining that it broke it down. They spent 10 bucks on an HD stream that they now can't watch. They are entitled to watch the stream that they paid for, but it isn't there. They have every right to complain and get some money back.
People didn't get what they paid for. I'm happy I didn't buy a TSL+ ticket now. I was actually regretting it before.
Yeah, I think I covered that in the second part of my post. I'm fine with people complaining about it, just not to the silly "end-of-the-world" degree that some seem to be doing it. I'd be a little pissed if I had TSL+ too, I'm sure, but a little perspective would be appreciated when addressing the issue.

Honestly I don't think there would've been that much of a problem had there been announcement beforehand. The fact that this just got dropped on everyone AFTER the supposed start time had already passed it what has most rather unhappy.
And it's made all the worse by IPL stream being nearly unwatch/listenable to.
Oh, yeah, and someone probably wants to tell the IPL casters to stop telling people to tune into the TSL after IPL since it's, yanno, not happening.

Liquid is playing in the Finals, so it must be significant. They want everyone's ears to bleed while Taeja curb stomps IM again.

TSL+ doesn't guarantee any schedule. It's just the better stream + chat when it happens. If you don't have time, you can still watch the VODs, so nothing missed here. And it's only one day of something like 7 weekends, so one day is worth only $0.71. Still complaining?

Internet is so retarded.
Yeah but if you show up to Disney Land on the opening day of a new ride, and pay extra to get on the ride first, and then can't get on the ride because the ride actually isn't open yet, yeah something is wrong. Sure you can come back tomorrow and ride it first, but if you had other plans you are out of luck if they won't refund you.
Now let me ask you, if that happened to you, would you paying extra next time to get on the ride first? Of course not! No one touches a hot stove twice. And that is why this is bad business.
The fact people are losing cents doesn't matter. Wrong is wrong and right is right. It is the principal that is upsetting here.

Nice try but wrong analogy, TSL+ isn't about getting something before others, it's just about better quality when it happens.

Sure, it doesn't effect the analogy though. Let me rewrite it for you.
Yeah but if you show up to Disney Land on the opening day of a new ride, and pay extra for the better quality seats on the ride, and then can't get on the ride because the ride actually isn't open yet, yeah something is wrong. Sure you can come back tomorrow and ride it, but if you had other plans you are out of luck if they won't refund you.
Now let me ask you, if that happened to you, would you paying extra next time for the better quality seats? Of course not! No one touches a hot stove twice. And that is why this is bad business.
There. And nothing about the validity of the argument has changed... it is about the principal of delivering what you say you are going to deliver. For people like me who didn't pay, it doesn't matter as much, but 80% of your income comes from 20% of your clients in a lot of businesses, and you don't want to alienate that 20%.

If I may speculate wildly...
TL probably had an agreement with IPL to not start TSL4 until TAC was over (maybe in exchange for some plugs from the IPL casters or something?). Because TAC is taking so long, TSL4 won't be able to start until poor viewing hours for Europe. TL knows that most of their TSL viewers are coming from Europe, so they decided to move Ro16 day 1 to a good European viewing time on Monday.
Obviously that's pure speculation, but it makes sense to me. I disagree with their decision to reschedule, and if they are compelled to reschedule because of an agreement with IPL, then I think they should not have made that agreement.
