Im bad with these things but anyone know where I can start demanding my money back?
I am one of those who paid for the + stream and cannot watch anything during Sunday / weekday evenings due to work....this is not what I was told I get. I paid for Sat + Sunday stream, NOT Sunday and Monday(?).
Here's an idea, how about we all ask our fucking money back and show how much we appreciate their service?

You can come pretty close to pleasing everybody by running it on a weekend. Like a Saturday.

Not sure I understand why it's being moved to Monday. Wont be watching it then (work obviously). If you are going to the trouble of scheduling something then should stick to the schedule or at least let people know that it's subject to change based on other tournaments schedule. Which begs the question, did people not know before hand that IPL would be having something going on during this time? (genuine question because IPL isn't something I follow)

It is what it is, but I'm a bit dissapointed that they didn't think of the postone in advance so people didn't sit around and wait for it to go live. For someone that doesn't care about the IPL team league, I could have done something else tonight.

So now its starting tomorrow and not today?... WTF T_T I payed $10 and wont be able to have time to watch on Monday.........

Christ, the entitlement is depressing. You spent 10 dollars to watch a tournament in full HD with people playing a game professionally. You didn't fly out into space and stop a massive meteor with your bare hands.
I'm fine with people complaining/wanting their money back if they don't get what they paid for, but just the overpriveliged entitled undertone to some (not all, certainly) of these posts makes me sad
|
Postponing the stream for several hours, then in the end canceling it and setting a new date in 2 days? And not even mentioning anything offically? Damn this sounds very un-TL-ish ;/

IPL stream failing is just making this postponing decision look worse and worse.

Some people simply wont have time to watch on Monday, thats a completely valid reason to complain over any amount of money spent. For some people $10 could be a lot for them.

Its not like the IPL is enjoyable to watch, no sound, lag spikes, missing video, crashes.. i mean.. Tsl could have saved the day, oh well, cya tomorrow tsl ;D

next week it is saturday and sunday. stop making a fuckin big deal. TL has quality production and great service for only 10$.

But their expectations are in line with how much money they spent. They spent 10 bucks for something, and TL didn't deliver. It wasn't like they spent 10 bucks on a car and are complaining that it broke it down. They spent 10 bucks on an HD stream that they now can't watch. They are entitled to watch the stream that they paid for, but it isn't there. They have every right to complain and get some money back.
People didn't get what they paid for. I'm happy I didn't buy a TSL+ ticket now. I was actually regretting it before.

Sigh. I stayed up to watch it too... .
Won;t say complete loss, as had a good PvT discussion, but still if its in the TL calender, kinda expect it to happen...

Damn this sounds very un-TL-ish ;/ Exactly! The reason i look forward to TSLs the most is the usually solid schedule, little downtime and the fact i know in advance when it starts exactly so i can make plans accordingly. This is disapointing really I hope they get some sort of comparable number of views on monday as they would have today, so this silly decision doesn't cost too dearly.

You want a refund because one feature out of 6 you get from TSL + isn't available at the time you thought you'd get it for 1 of the 11 or 12 days of broadcast.
Really?

People are entitled to get 1/12th of their money back then. Or 83 cents.
Liquid simply isn't respecting peoples time or money here and in the end it is just bad customer service and bad business to do this to people. It is going to cost Liquid a lot of buys for future TLS+ tickets.

Hahaha and so it was supposed to be this week too. "has quality production and great service for only 10$" For any amount of money, doing last minute (yes, there was minutes left) postpones for 24h is not great service by any measure. When they apologies and admit that yes, we fucked this one up, sure I forgive that. I'm still waiting that tho....

I don't think this was a very smart move...
