alicia got lucky avoiding stephano No it's fair. Everyone had an equal chance to randomly have a bracket which avoided Stephano, therefore its fair. People had seeds, in your scenario it would only be fair if there were an unlimited amount of tournaments. Everyone had the equal chance to be born in a country thats not korea so has a better ability to qualify in a tournament which gives them a higher seed?
can't argue this
let's go taeja let's go

NOT TRUE.If he loses the first Bo3, he gets a second one. If he wins the first Bo3, he goes through. He wins his bracket final & then lose in the grand final, lose only one serie. Just as alicia. if Oz had won would've been quite unfair. Still just doing a simple double elim format and accepting that the final might suck or doing single elim /w bo5 would be way better... That's true but it didn't happen. I just think this format sucks. They want a meaningful final and that is not feasible with extended series.

Extended series advantage...
that has nothing to do with coming from the winners bracket..... If he had not dropped a game to Oz earlier, he would have a 2-0 advantage, which means he only has to win 2 games across the entire series and his opponent has to win 4. Compare to Taeja, who could lose the first series 2-1, and then has to win 2 games in the next Bo3 to advance, for 3 total. Best advantage goes to person with extended series. that has nothing to do with coming from the winners bracket..... If you come from the winners bracket against someone who you haven't played against, you get a second Bo3 if you lose the first. If you play against someone who you've already played against, you have to win 2 games in a Bo3. You don't get an additional advantage because that advantage is already better than just the winners bracket one. So you just lose the winner bracket advantage? No, you're not given one because you already have a BETTER advantage. Win 2 games at ANY time and you win. The winner bracket advantage may require you to win 3 games. You still lose the winner bracket advantage. Your statement is absolutely meaningless. It's like saying getting a 120 euro prize instead of a 100 dollar prize sucks because you lose your 100 dollar prize. It's like if you win €50 and then the next day €100 and you suddenly loose the €50 that's not fair.
no it is not, it is like if u earn 50 dollars but they are willing to give you 100, so instead of picking 50 or 100 dollars u think u should be able to pick 150 dollars

you know it's not a penalty to come from the lb but a chance that Taeja might use? And extended series bullshit means that he'll be ahead if he wins the 1st bo3.

That poor probe, I wanted it to get home.

Probably a slight misquote, but that interview was a classic. Nothing on the Davit interview, of course. If you want soul crushing awfulness in StarCraft form, that's what you need.

Your argument doesn't apply to this situation.

Why does MLG do this to us? Why dont they use rules in a loser bracket like everyone else? Every MLG people are getting aggrevated and start to argue about the extended series instead of just enjoying the games. I dont understand what they get out of that.
Is it that they dont want to admit how dumb their system was in the first place?

Seriously, how do you get your warpgates to look like on the premium stream?

Yeah, makes sense....

"he can't drop while attacking" taeja drops while attacking

Great multi-tasking drops by TaeJa.

Loving Taeja's dropship play.
I feel like, with Apollo, Day9 is a lot more analytic. This is the Day9 I like hearing as a commentator.
