I kinda miss the Inca rule.
When behind/ahead/even, Dark Shrine?

Taeja is so fucked by MLG's rules, no advantage and he might be the only one out /w only one series lost...

Question, was alicia lifting oz's immortal at the start the biggest factor there ? I'm happy alicia won , I just want to know why what he did worked when it seemed like oz should have been in the better position.

Lets go Taeja we don't want PvP finals

Ah damn I wanted Oz to win. LET'S GO TAEJA!!!

NOT TRUE.
If he loses the first Bo3, he gets a second one. If he wins the first Bo3, he goes through.

It was the FFs imo, Oz couldn't blink forward so only half his army was attacking.

Isn't it a little unfair that if Taeja loses he's out, whereas it should be double elimination? Or is it if Taeja wins the Bo3 he moves on, if he loses the Bo3 it becomes a Bo7?

If he had not dropped a game to Oz earlier, he would have a 2-0 advantage, which means he only has to win 2 games across the entire series and his opponent has to win 4. Compare to Taeja, who could lose the first series 2-1, and then has to win 2 games in the next Bo3 to advance, for 3 total. Best advantage goes to person with extended series. that has nothing to do with coming from the winners bracket..... If you come from the winners bracket against someone who you haven't played against, you get a second Bo3 if you lose the first. If you play against someone who you've already played against, you have to win 2 games in a Bo3. You don't get an additional advantage because that advantage is already better than just the winners bracket one. So you just lose the winner bracket advantage? No, you're not given one because you already have a BETTER advantage. Win 2 games at ANY time and you win. The winner bracket advantage may require you to win 3 games. You still lose the winner bracket advantage.

Regardless of how this tournament ends, I feel like Axslav is the winner. I really learned a ton of him this weekend!

alicia got lucky avoiding stephano No it's fair. Everyone had an equal chance to randomly have a bracket which avoided Stephano, therefore its fair.
