Was never in danger? You're joking right? Not only was he in danger, he should not have won that game. Ryung seriously outplayed him hard for like 80% of that game. Killed off all the mining hatcheries while getting up two mining bases of his own. I have no clue what happened(Not gonna dive into the cesspool of IMBA posts) but Stephano should not have won that.

I mean, even if his character is sometimes at fault, you can't root agaisnt raw talent ^^
Of course you can, Ronaldo is goddamn talented yet lots of people root against him. RM is an amazing team yet lots of people root against them. It's normal.
Personally, I root against him because I dislike what his fans do to LR threads, so I'd prefer it if he made quick exits from tournaments. That's a lot crazier.

SC2 is a sloppy game. Everyone complains about slop. Because, we expect everyone to do the perfect thing 100% of the time. It's not going to happen. When 2 great players collide, they are going to tax each other, lose control of units, miss creep spread, lose a couple extra tanks... it's just the game and the delicacy of the units. It's hardly slop.

What an incredibly entertaining series.
ZvT continues to deliver remarkably close games with similarly skilled players despite the near endless balance whining we are still subjected to.
I had called it for Ryung after the poor engagement at the ramp where Stephano lost his entire army and Ryung's remained relatively untouched due to being clustered in the corner. The income, base and army situation at that point was so far in Ryung's favour it looked completely hopeless for Stephano to come back. The next 5-10 minutes of extremely intense gameplay saw Stephano gradually come back into it when practically everybody would have felt the game unwinnable for him.
Thoroughly enjoyable, Stephano was totally on the limit there, that's exactly the kind of thing that makes competitive gaming entertaining.

Where would you like it?
Spectators are more than welcome to dislike a player for their playstyles or their polarizing personalities or behavior. It's what makes the game even more interesting and entertaining: the fact that you can like some players and dislike others.
