Its impossible to tell who is the best...too many tournaments, too many players, too many variables. just watch and stfu. Well i guess they would if there was a game on.

Not always, they won the title when Anytime was still on the team. Also, longest break ever

It could be or it could just be congrates/generic messages about you can do it etc. that means just not much.Do I think taeja would have won had he played from game on of the 2nd BO9? So far he is showing pretty well that he could of. Hero is their 2nd best bet, but that is pretty much it with maybe zenio/ret who could take a game (which zenio did, but honestly would have rather seen taeja from the start). Taeja is showing exhaustion when he is displaying great micro still doesn't make much sense when I havn't really seen much exhaustion from korean players like ever or really even just sc2 pros. They should be used to playing a ton of games. Taeja seemed to not even need to recover, and he should have even recovered during all the downtime. There is no way in hell you can compare a FPS to a RTS. I mean a competitive FPS is a team game while RTS is a single game, but this tournament just has a team aspect. How was the rest of the team not just cannon folder when taeja/hero/maybe zenio are only really taking games? last thing: I hate everyone who is saying that team liquid is the best FOREIGN team. It would be like EG being the best FOREIGN team with only puma/jyp getting results..it just makes no sense for me. why would you hate it? that feeling and expression of saying something's the best is similar to when say... you're out playing volleyball, or whichever sport you enjoy best (including starcraft) and you just happen to say, 'this game is the best'. or if you're hanging by a thread over a cliff and a friend manages to catch you by the very edge of his grasp, pulling you to safety... once again you say, 'you're the best, man!' (in this case he is the best though, lol) it's obvious it's an opinion bundled by a bunch of feelings/emotions a lot of people would not argue that EG is the best FOREIGNNNN team because actually, team liquid is :DDDD

It would be like EG being the best FOREIGN team with only puma/jyp getting results..it just makes no sense for me. I dont believe i mentioned the forgien element once. i said about hero and zenio / ret for sure though. You dont think congratulatory messages alone could have an effect on taeja? you dont think 8 hard fought live high-stress tournament wins in a row would take a toll? Im also confused. Yes his micro at the end of that game was impressive, but lets not confuse it for what it was - a desperation move that worked. Literally eveyrone exclaimed the game was over, the liquid team had their heads in their hands. Taeja realised he had lost it because younghwa had outplayed him with his decision making and plays. (Not talking mechanics here) and tried desperately to win due to the stress he was under, and it paid off. He realises he' s the best hope of liquid coming away with this. While taejas mechanics and speed is still top notch, mentally he's tired and its showing, his decision making is becoming flawed, his plays are sloppy. Its happening more and more, this isnt just ladder grinding, this is a high profile tournament with hopes riding almost solely on him. Its a fucking huge pressure.
