Thats its there is nothing more to it. If ret/haypro/nony/sheth were winning games for this finals or in the team league then it would be a team effect, but its really just ret/haypro/nony/sheth play then lose then taeja cleans everyone up. While its a korean winning the games yes, and its unlikely its possible without him, its still a team effort. You dont think congratulatory messages alone could have an effect on taeja? you dont think 8 hard fought live high-stress tournament wins in a row would take a toll? Im also confused. Yes his micro at the end of that game was impressive, but lets not confuse it for what it was - a desperation move that worked. Literally eveyrone exclaimed the game was over, the liquid team had their heads in their hands. Taeja realised he had lost it because younghwa had outplayed him with his decision making and plays. (Not talking mechanics here) and tried desperately to win due to the stress he was under, and it paid off. He realises he' s the best hope of liquid coming away with this. While taejas mechanics and speed is still top notch, mentally he's tired and its showing, his decision making is becoming flawed, his plays are sloppy. Its happening more and more, this isnt just ladder grinding, this is a high profile tournament with hopes riding almost solely on him. Its a fucking huge pressure. Without the rest between Bo9's, would he have been mentally prepared to take down his opponents? | ||
