naniwa got knocked out by slivko last DH and got 2-0d by his teammate livezerg yesterday. And SaSe always loses to ret. it will be really hard for the Swedish brotosses to make it to ro16.

Hero is playing pretty sick this tournament. And that 4gate attack by Naniwa(wasn't it?) where he defended with 2 gates was one of the best games of the tournament, I think.

I'm pretty sure I've seen SaSe win against Ret? Or am I wrong?
I hope a swedish guy wins just so I can hear the people cheering in the finals. It was pretty sick when Thorzain won last year!

I think sase lost to ret at mlg winter arena, mlg winter championship and red bull lan (not battlegrounds).

Well you can't say that HuK failed, he played very good throughout the tournament and was just really unlucky.

I believe Sase said his pvz has improved hugely due to the zerg-buff, now all he faces on the ladder is zerg ^^
He did beat Stephanos "unbeatable zvp" at redbull-lan so I hope he can beat Ret. We'll see.

He beated Stephano at MLG spring championship, he beat leenock as well that event. I'm more positive about SaSe passing the first round than Naniwa passing it though.

me too but I'd like naniwa to win the whole thing simply because it would piss annoying stephano/huk-fanboys off, both players who are very good btw.

I'd say they'd have a chance if it weren't for the almost certainty that they will have to face stephano, and if they somehow manage to beat him, then likely naniwa in the finals.

lol @ overrating those 2. Hero can have his way with either of those guys with ease. If Taeja is playing well then he would certainly beat them also. Anyway most people don't think Stephano will even get out of the RO8 it seems and if Keen is on his game he won't even get through 1 round. And Naniwa will fall to some zerg (ANY of them) over on his side of the bracket.

If Nerchio beats Stephano like everyone expects then I think Hero gonna win it all, even though Hero lost to Nerchio in HSC 3. If Stephano actually beats Nerchio then I think Stephano gonna win it all. Ofcourse Stephano and Nerchio have to beat Keen and Bratok but I dont really see niether of the zergs losing but ofcourse it can happend. One thing is for surden the winner of Dreamhack will come from this side of the bracket!

I would be very supriced if it didnt happend

I don't think there is any chance that Stephano can beat Hero if Hero is playing well. Hero knows how to play against Stephano and knows just what to do in macro games against him so Stephano would have to cheese Hero out if he wanted to win.

I dont see hero comming out ahead vs Stephano. I think its gonna be parting/squirtle all over again. But we will see:D thats whats makes starcraft 2 great you never know

This talk of Stephano having an edge or being better than HerO is absurd especially in Dreamhack right now, HerO is on a complete roll (18-0) while stephano has lost two matches (4 games) if anyone if favored its HerO vs everyone (he is the only won who hasnt dropped a game). The only person who looks to be a threat would be Taeja cause of being teammates and all. Seriously though this is HerO's dreamhack to lose.

Agree with all of it but the finals, I love Ret but I watched the series between him and HerO earlier in DH and HerO has his number. So my only change would be Hero beating Ret 3-1

Only thing that matters is that Stephano hasn't lost a map to protoss yet (or terran if that matters), and Hero hasn't lost a map to zerg yet either. Both are absolute MONSTERS in ZvP / PvZ, it's impossible to predict the issue of such a match.
Hero is in great shape indeed, but Stephano looks as strong as ever against protoss. His ZvZ being quite weak, he will probably get knocked out by Nerchio in Ro8 anyway.

Well.. Judging from the Huk vs Slivko series he was lucky (or Slivko failing) to even get in that position ...
It's harsh for Huk but he did not look really good in that group.
