Btw might end up casting Day 1 by myself, won't be pretty but I'll try my best.
For all the DoTA 1 and War3 games we will be spectating but I know little to nothing about the competitive side so probably will just spectate that. Will see how it goes.
The LoL games may or may not be shown, not sure yet.

He's irrelevant already? My, what short attention spans people have. The guy just won a premier tournament last month. The fact that he made it through the Korean qualifiers, beating players like Creator, Squirtle and MKP means that he is still one of the best players out there today.
Is ESV there in person streaming this event, or are you just on bnet obbing / streaming games? Seems like a very big step to call this an ESV Live Event.. did you fund the production and event yourself?

Nope over B.net, and it's not a ESV Live event as a brand, we are just promoting it's a live lan which it is. Also our partners over in China who did fund all this are very happy with everything !

So we won't see the stage/crowd/players or interviews?

The order you see in the OP is the order it should go if all goes right.
Just fyi I realized that of course DoTA 1 and War3 will be on LAN mode and not Battle.net so likely for those we will simply be re streaming the Chinese stream, so stability and quality will not the best.
It's weird to see Sky going up against Lyn in WC3 and than there is Grubby not playing WC3, but Starcraft 2 instead. Anyways predicting an awesome Grubby vs MMA SC2 final !!!
Since the Sky vs Lyn match is a semi-final, anyone knows who the other two participants are ?

Very lucky for Grubby that he got the worst Chinese player of the two and managed to end up with a Korean who is really weak vs Protoss and Grubby's best matchup.
Still think MMA will take it but wouldn't be shocked if Grubby won either.

We have worked out that we should have webcams set up on the players for the matches like a live lan. Also we will have access to the Chinese stream, but from the US (where I am) it can be a tad unreliable.

Idk I think Macsed is better than Sen this very moment, maybe not over all of SC2's history but Macsed just took the Nvidia gaming LAN which had MvP and Moon in it.
If you click around the tabs on that page also, you might stumble upon a live broadcast when the games are going on. I'm being led to believe it's on http://match.replays.net/Live/501 or http://match.replays.net/Live/506, but don't quote me on that. Too early for me to watch anyways , and you mayyyyyy need to dload a video client to watch.
Glad to hear we might get a restream though. Thanks, Diamond!

Iirc, he didn't play Mvp though, just Moon, and Moon's ZvP is ... sometimes suspect. Not that I've seen Sen recently though, so I can't really judge. Hope to see him do well at this one, though ofc, have to root for Grubby in Grubby home country.
As good as MMA's TvZ is, the TvZ shift is now in Zerg's favour, so honestly, MMA could lose. The Protosses could also take out MMA, so it's not going to be a walk in the park for him.

MMA plays different than most terrans though. He's a greedy player that relies on multitasking in the late game to take out his zerg opponent instead of early harassment that has been shutdown with the recent queen buff. That's why we usually see him get all-in or roach rushed a lot. We'll see how it goes. Hopefully he'll stick to bio.

Well consider the fact that the chinese crowd like idolizes him back when he played alot of WC3. It pretty much counts as Grubby's "Home" Crowd. Hopefully all that energy they'll give him will push him forward to a tournament win! :D

so this looks like a bust.
Nah this is running more or less on par with last year, but the SC2 went off fine last year. I am already set up and waiting in the channel with the maps pre downloaded ! Patience, and my apologies.
Hmm, Diamond. I've been watching it off http://match.replays.net/Live/501 (also only works on IE*), which autoinstalls PPTV onto your computer if you don't already have it. (I got it working on another computer that already had PPTV installed, but had to turn it off a while ago due to it overheating, but it worked fine on that one.)
*Edit, just checked, might work on Firefox too. I can't dload PPTV on my current computer though to verify.

There was delays with LoL (dont know how long), and I cannot get the Chinese stream open to restream it or live update, no SC2 games have been missed yet however. Not getting a ton of info from the admins and cant see the stream.

oh man that sucks. aren't you guys partners? they should provide you with direct streams. no sc2 yet, no problem
The qualifier finals were Bo5, but the semi-finals of the offline tournament are Bo3... Really? I hate Bo3 The best player should win and not the luckiest one...
I am fine with stream problems as long as we dont miss any games :D
Two of the most crazy base trade games ever. Grubby had a great chance to win both but both slipped away. Really a treat to watch though. Super unique.

Ok shutting down the stream until the next SC2 matches, too much downtime and can't get a stable stream to restream. Sorry d00ds! Still on for SlayerS.MMA vs. Gamma.Sen when we get back.

Making the finals was the exception, not the rule it seems.
The queen buff probably had something to do with it as well. A coach is nice but he doesn't make the decisions in game, the player does. MMA was good before Ryu came on board, but he's definitely in a big slump right now.

MMA was way too greedy on game 1, and then not aggressive enough on game 2. By the time he tried to set up that bunker pressure on game 2, it was already too late. Sen did not have much lings for the longest time in his opening, got his overlord snipped, but still won anyway....

sounds like he got meta-gamed. he played greedy to be even with the zerg with how diffcult it is to harass zerg in the early game. that left him vulnerable to a bust. with that first win, sen knew he could afford to play greedy himself in the second game.

Everyone could have a bad day. If MMA don't care about the money why is he even attending the event. You make out sound like 3k is a pocket change.

Never heard of game raising?
3k's not really that much money to MMA given he's won $172,000 from this game.
I imagine Sen put a hell of a lot more prep into this than MMA did where as MMA has Code A and GSTL to prepare for.

MMA cared enough to play through the Korean qualifiers and to attend a two-day event. Saying he didn't come prepared is ridiculous. Why would Sen care more about $3000 given that he gets paid enough in TESL to ignore virtually every international tournament?
Stop making excuses for MMA. You're a Korean fanboy, we get it, but learn to give people credit when they make upsets.

Google'd 'game raising' and 'game raising' + 'starcraft'. Didn't find a single relevant thing to what you said. Are you sure English is your first language?
You remind me a lot of another 'UK' poster who was banned a while ago for flaming in Stephano and NA / EU vs. Korea threads. Don't make the same mistake. No one enjoys hearing excuses whenever top Koreans lose.
How did the Sen-MMA match go? Was it bad play by MMA I assume? No offense to Sen, but I can't see him beating MMA unless MMA got greedy and Sen punished with early aggression.

MMA got greedy the first game and Sen punished him for that with a fast bust.
MMA played safe the second game and Sen punished him for that too with greed.
Sen had better mind games and MMA was not able to outplay him.
