You can't scout that, add 2 rax and then attack, his 5-8 gates will be ready to defend by then. If you opened 4-5 rax, you can do that. Or you can try to all in with your 2-3 rax and a bunch of scvs, which is super risky, but certainly can work. | ||

Huge econ, huge unit count, used to bully the opponent from taking a 3rd (or kill them). imo Thorzain's biggest mistake was not scouting the third. He had a waste of a bunker, and was not actively pressuring such a greedy (2gas) 3rd Nexus. He could've pulled 3-4 scvs and done massive damage at Squirtle's natural had he known the situation. All he had were sentries, and sentries alone do not stop naturals from dying. It was 1gate vs. 2rax for a while. | ||

Damn it all! For those asking about what Terran can do, something like cloaked Banshee just straight up kills what Squirtle did there, and any early pressure build does damage too. Basically, Protoss is hoping for a build order win with that move, and it is one against the most common Terran openers, but it also straight up dies to some. Seems weird for a superior player to go for that, but there you go. | ||
