Honestly, if there's one player who I think will destroy the possibility of a Polt/Stephano finals, it will be Symbol. Better ZvZ than anyone else here, and his ZvT is on par with Polt's (I would have said better, but Polt is on form right now).

I'd like to see him in the GSL though before anyone starts annointing him the best ZvPer or best European out there, etc. Hopefully we get to see that soon and maybe then we can get an accurate idea of where he really stands as a player. Can't you just be satisfied with just you reserving judgement? Its actually totally fine to hype up players you like a little bit.

There are 2 main ZvP builds that DRG does, one is a mass roach style similar to stephano, trying to overrun the protoss on 3 base. The other is the fast broodlord style you saw in game 2. Metropolis is a fairly good map for the broodlord style, because it's easy to defend all your bases with mass spines, so MC knew DRG had a high chance of doing that build. In game 3, MC made it look like he was going an immortal expand like he did in game 2 by hiding colossi and showing one immortal. DRG assumed MC could hold a roach pressure, with the immortal expand, so he went for fast broods. He "knew" he couldn't be punished, because siege units like colossi wouldn't be coming anytime soon and he could just hide behind a bunch of spines. If he had indeed done the roach aggression, he would have had a really really good chance of breaking MC. However, MC hid the robo bay/colossi, chornoing 3 colossi and following up with a warp prism. He didn't add a twilight and essentially did a 3 base colossi all-in push at 13:30, when he knew the standard bl timing is 15:00. Except this wasn't risky; MC pretty much knew had a 100% chance of winning as soon as he scouted the infestation pit and hive. Thanks for the meaningful analysis of the game. you should be behind that desk :p

Lol, what is cheese for you? Heart is known for being a cheeser player. You`re only saying it was early pressure because he failed

Still rooting for Grubby its amazing how much he has advanced from being the only one who lost against Artosis in the NASL to being one of the top foreigners. Yeah i completely agree, everyone forgets that grubby started a year after the beta
