MVP and NesTea doesn't allways play in the teamlagues as far as I've seen. Is there any way to know if they are going to play in this one? (if it comes to that point where they are needed)

I'd say there is a slight chance nestea will play but no chance that mvp will.

Mvp might be sent out against DongRaeGu early in the series, and NesTea usually only comes out for Ace matches.
Whether they come out or not is a combination of the current time (NesTea might be asleep if it goes for too long) and how much they value the prize (better seed + $200). They're usually only sent out if they're on the verge of elimination of a high-prized tournament, so it's hard to tell if they think better seeding is worth the effort.
Ok thanks. Makes sense what you both are saying. MVP is focusing on Squirtle so the chances are probably quite low. NesTea has his Code S spot to secure so.
hmmm, macro protoss player here, so dont know how all ins vs terran go, but why do terrans put CC on high ground? i FE every game, so when they do this it just puts me ahead, with no significant advantage to them, so what are they scared of?
EDIT: is it build specific for when he goes fast factory?

Protoss is scary.
But yeah, normally in base is when you are teching off a FE.
Nice push by Seed but overextended / got sloppy. Just had to put down a robotics bay after taking the third out, and then get out colossus to crush Zerg. Zerg on 2 bases is terrible vs Protoss.
the super fast immortal sentry play feels like a hard counter to the current zerg meta game, i feel he either should have pulled back after killing the third, or manage is FF energy a bit better
Sloppy Seed. Man that All-in is very powerful. Considering he also dumped money into 1x stargate and 2x voidrays which did NO damage at all. Amazing all-in I'd say. Also shows how BAD hydras are lol. Tier 2 and totally useless

Wow. How interesting of a micro battle. Wow... What an interesting strategy. How interesting of a match-up. 3 base vs 2 base with better econ, spines/hydras/lings/roaches but no... blink stalker ftw.
Edit: Sorry for the whine but... I can't stand this unit. Every other unit has a "counter" of sorts. Blink stalker's only counter is when blink is not yet upgraded.

please dont just jump on the hydra hate bandwagon, the correct response in this situation was to go hydra. monster just slipped up on his macro (injects/no macro hatch - i think no macro hatch at least).
If you KNOW your oppoennt isnt going collosus (say hes doing a blink all in, like this game) hydra is 100% the correct choice.

Maru got an all-kill against Prime, July got an all-kill against IM and YoDa got an all-kill against Fnatic.

Maru got a reverse all-kill against Prime, July got an all-kill against IM and YoDa got an all-kill against Fnatic.
Reverse all kill? Like, they were down 5-0 then won 6-5?

maru beat startale 6-1 for prime, not against it? july 6-0 IM yoda 6-0 fnatic

I agree. However, I don't even think macro was that much of a problem, he just kept engaging too far away from reinforcements and didn't retreat when he had a much small army than the blink stalkers. You have to engage blink stalkers with far superior numbers otherwise you get diminishing returns.

Blink stalkers' only counter is anything but Hydras.

i agree with the later part of your post, the first part, i dont know. he did seem to play well but i think the macro was the issue, roaches and lings are really cheap, if he could have had 800-300 more units, that is sooo many, especially in such a close situation.

Oh for sure, I just think good engagements could have made up for the slip-ups in macro.

Yeeeep. Coulda just gone mass phoenixes (snipe medivacs while army is moving up / worker harass / crowd control) with chargelots (to engage marines front on) or something. Anything woulda been better than this terrible kak-1base- HT play. Even the good old Colossi with his big swipers would've done well. Sentries are also kinda essential on crossfire... to hold ramps etc.

? seed played it the best possible way.
- More phnx - no. they cost a lot for a 1 base economy, and just mass marine will run over him.
- chargelots - again, no. you need to tech to splash to kill that many marine/tank.
- collosus - tanks outrange them, immortals are essential for killing the tanks.

Woops. Worded that pretty horribly. They were down 1-0 and Maru got the all-kill.

Err no. He did well to start with - 2 immorts + sentries + zealots + stalker. Balanced. Stopped Noblesse's all-in in it's tracks.
But after he pushed Noblesse back, he had perfect scouting. He should have expanded earlier. Take the risk - if Noblesse pulls 2222222222 SCV's to all-in instead of building a CC, he can always cancel the nexus. But going for HT's? Not sure there. He needed to leave sentries near watch towers and stall. Make the tanks siege closer to the terran base. 1-1-1/tank-marine builds simply should not work on this map anymore. Marines get so clumped that colossi can just swipe them to pieces.
Mass phoenixes (~6) is to lift tanks while the ground engages. I'm only suggesting more phoenixes since Seed opened stargate. Otherwise there's no point. Going for colossi fixes most problems in Protoss life. You need 2 bases for this to work.
Not convinced by Seed's decision making in that game.
DRG and genius are probably focusing on their code A matches right now.
DRG has made an appearance for MVP as ace pretty much every time they play in the ksl (albeit he keeps losing). Genius, on the other hand, isn't a surprise since he never seems to play in team leagues :S

The Code A game where he just shredded him with drops?

well that wraps up a horrible first KSL season for MVP, who would have thought they'd go 1-6. There only win was vs Fnatic in their very first game, and didn't win after that.

how often have they used drg and genius?
Drg 3 times (lost all of them), genius never but he doesn't play in teamleagues really often
