Just one of the pitfalls of using bio TvP. Army needs constant babysitting or it could be devastated in an instant. MVP looked like he hit decent EMPs but losing all those medivacs and so much supply of bio was too much. Parting capitalized, MVP didn't necessarily get unlucky, and Parting definitely took that win.

Anyways, map was imba for terran, Parting was heavily favored and easily got maxed. IMO, which will get flamed, Parting is heavily overhyped. He exploits end-game imba for protoss. His micro/decision-making is not on the level of previous GSL champions. Hopefuly MVP pulls it out. So apparently, parting is not microing on the level of other gsl champions. HE'S MICROING BETTER!

Has very little to do with hitting EMPs, more to do with position. You can't be on open ground, unless you have a shitton of ghosts or medivacs.

You can't magically make a dropship get into the Protoss base when the Toss is leaving all his stalkers there and the sentries at the front. This isn't leaving Zerg alone forever AT ALL. So stupid. Yes MVP overmade vikings but as Toss lategame you pretty much amove army and then control templar. As Terran you have to kite all your bio, so pretty much once you go into kite bio mode, you lose ability to snipe templar (unless you're literally pulling 500apm in battle). That's why you see some templar snipes before the battle but once Toss started bringing them in mid battle after the ghosts weren't being controlled (or were dead as Terrans right now tend to keep ghosts in front), it's so strong. Parting played Toss perfectly though, turtling hardcore to get his deathball. PartinG's strategy is completely disgusting. He rushed collosus to force terran to make vikings instead of medevacs, and immediately tech switched to HTs which made the vikings completely useless. THIS is why his deathball is so insanely strong - hes basically playing mindgames and forcing bad compositions from terran. You can say spam scan or something - terran cant afford it. Not at this neck to neck play. The only way to beat this is blind countering, or having insanely good econ and getting a huge ball of everything before toss can have anything

Now MVP is a genius when he does a bunker rush. People are funny. If Naniwa had done the same the flaming would not had have any boundaries, but MVP have "champion mentallity" hence is it great. Cheese is not some 'bad strategy.' 6 pool, FFE, triple OC, cannon rush, or whatever. It's just that some people think anything other than 30min game is cheap and boring.

Mvp keeps his build similar to the last. 2 tech lab barracks with Stim/Combat, Medivacs coming. 9:00 Parting adds 2 gates (3 total) and a Templar Archives.
