He had to stim all his units to get away, that really hurts terran especially when their medivacs get feedback and have to engage the protoss army right after

There are only 3 real areas a late game TvP can engage on that map and Mvp was caught with half his army on the second, forced to stim twice with only 1 real medevac healing, giving the storms way too much damage. The collosus essentially were bait and forced the terrans to make vikings instead of medevacs, making storm so much stronger Also why I feel PartinGs PvT is so disgusting. He knows terran cannot make medevacs if early collosus, and immediately tech switching to HT when medevac count is low is disgustingly strong.

Seriously. "Macro game" isn't that exciting when it means there no engagements for 18 minutes until both players are maxed, then terran is caught out of position once and the game ends instantly. That's not a game I'd recommend to anyone.

Not to take anything away from Parting, who played well that game and had really good storms. It wasn't luck he had the army in vision of his Observers the whole time, he knew exactly what he was doing. Parting always plays PvT like this but it gets ignored. He is one of the only Protoss to actually make a large number of Observers.

I wish TL had an option to hide people's post. That would make the LR threads much better ![]()

If he doesn't have enough Vikings prepared (he had 10), he would lose. You can say he could "scan", but scanning doesn't tell you what your opponent will be building 1 minute later.

That was mvp having 2 terrible engagements and overmaking vikiings. Also he put 0 pressure on parting, this was pretty much like leaving zerg alone and let them get 15 min brood/infestor while you overmake marauder. How did he not pressure. You realize he was putting on Pressure by having his army out on the map, taking a third WAY earlier then Parting. You can't magically make a dropship get into the Protoss base when the Toss is leaving all his stalkers there and the sentries at the front. This isn't leaving Zerg alone forever AT ALL. So stupid. Yes MVP overmade vikings but as Toss lategame you pretty much amove army and then control templar. As Terran you have to kite all your bio, so pretty much once you go into kite bio mode, you lose ability to snipe templar (unless you're literally pulling 500apm in battle). That's why you see some templar snipes before the battle but once Toss started bringing them in mid battle after the ghosts weren't being controlled (or were dead as Terrans right now tend to keep ghosts in front), it's so strong. Parting played Toss perfectly though, turtling hardcore to get his deathball.

Yeah I don't understand why people would find it more enjoyable than the 111 that we saw before. At least with a 111 the battle last more than 10 seconds, and there is a lot of tension. Here it was the typical tvp with a 10 sec battle into loss. Game 1 was pretty bad as well, but at least there was the surprise factor to see all these scvs and a nice timing before storm.
