Taeja went fast vikings in game 2- if Squirtle had done the same build as game one he would have got owned. In that sense Squirtle was 'lucky' I guess but changing up builds each game is also good play.

Prediction: A few months from now, early ghost academy (and treating ghosts like sentries by letting them sit and build energy to increase their usefulness later) will be almost standard, or at least somewhat common, in TvP

Taeja did lose 25 workers to the blink stalkers. I guess he took too much damage and ended up with too few units?

Taeja had a bigger army supply because the supply was even but he had way less workers, taeja also had better upgrades and supposedly a better position, but if 3 siege tanks and 3 bunkers won't do it, I don't see how mere chokes will.

They do, but Taeja isn't using them at the moment. Squirtle is just being let to play his own game which Taeja needs to stop if he wants to take this series.

, because until then most Protoss said they found early ghosts more difficult than early medivacs.


2 factors. Nerfed EMP and the good Protosses are splitting their sentries/templars better. Ghosts are great is you can land that hero emp which catches 3+ sentries or templars. If you don't, marines and maruadars do more DPS.

Pretty much. That was really clutch from TaeJa, loved that part. The final engagement was just really boring. overall entertainment value wasn't that good, but the game had that warp prism/blink part which was really cool to watch. IMO.

TvZ at least. PvZ is a pretty shitty right now, it revolves around mothership to an absurd degree in the late game once the zerg has critical mass of broods.
