Why would they think it's exciting to watch or use?" GG regardless, keen made some good play but misread and overextended over the course of the game. To be fair everyone seems to have forgotten up till the point these fungals got off that golden had managed to pull off such a huge lead after all those engagements he literally could have attacked and pulled off any kind of fungals and still come out ontop. It was just how keen's army comp was vs golden's, not much of a choice if you want to zerg the broods you'd get bunched getting close for fungals anyways or if youre running youre open to fungals anyways (2 tanks cant stop that many fungals before broods demolish em)

I mean as a viable end game tech option, ya'know, that can stand up and fight against broodlords well and okay against ultras. I hate that zerg is allowed to build 12+ infestors but we can't build 12+ ghosts. It makes lategame terran really frustrating to play and to watch. Ghosts can be viable, because getting some EMPs on the Infestors can be pretty deciding. I know the nerf has made ghosts a lot less viable in TvZ...

Well to be fair, when that happens it's usually due to a complete lack of spreading by terran. Getting that many marines fungaled in place by one fungal is simply unacceptable. I know but like, Watching an entire end -game battle come down to not even an engagement but just... "hey a fungal landed, now that entire pack of units is dead and there is nothing you can do about it" is really...Not fun to watch. It's just a mechanic that shouldn't be in the game.

It's not like the broodlords came out of nowhere, he was fighting with 4 of them for almost three minutes. Keen chose to go thors instead.

Yeah I prefer watching storm myself, storm dodges, storm weathering, so many options. I love seeing terrans sit through a storm , eat it and still power through its awesome. I also love watching 30 marines die to one storm. ![]() Pretty sure the unburrow > fungals there were more exciting than SC2's "spam storms and watch them not kill medivac'd marauders". Storm dodging is sick, but the spell itself brings nowhere near the tension that it had in BW - it's just a ton weaker.

This is really true. Even in BW, plagues did a FUCKTON of dmg but it never froze u in place. Fungals do seem a bit unfair :/

What do you mean nothing you can do about it? You can spread out your units so that doesn't happen. You think it's fun playing vs forcefields or siege lines?
