Strelok 2-1 Axslav (Ax can take a game but Strelok is looking beastly in nasl) Mana 2-1 TLO (they both look kinda weak pvz, but i think mana has a better chance, prove me wrong TLO!) Sen 2- 1 Rain (Sen is looking strong, but i haven't seen much out of rain lately, so i will go with a 2-1) HUk 2-1 Ganzi ( if huk shows up with the skill level he showed against taeja, If not 2-0 Ganzi)
TLO vs. Mana is a toss-up. They're both looking at their worst match ups.
Rain's terrible in TvZ, but Sen's been out of practice, too. That said, I give this match to Sen because he is the better player.
HuK vs. Ganzi is a toss-up. No way to call this because it depends on which HuK shows up - the HuK that beat Taeja is able to beat Ganzi. The HuK that lost to Strelok is not.
I wish NASL got more love, it's turning into an amazing tournament. The implementation of things like the $150 prize for each regular season series is a really innovative and key thing in a tournament run in this sort of format, and all the games are relevant, even if they aren't played live. It's really a great model, and I wish people would recognize it a bit more.
Not the best response from Sen. What you want to do in that situation is to pull all your drones to the main and block the ramp with queens and roaches while you clean up the hellions with roaches.

Sen handled the hellions poorly - it was a great comeback but all he had to do was pull his drones up to the main and block his ramp and then he's way ahead mid game.

I don't really agree. I mean Rain probably could've done some timing to just crush sen, but I feel he really took his lead to the lategame. I mean Bitterdam didn't really touch on it, but Rain was almost maxed on mech with great upgrades against tier 1.5 zerg army. Rain just should've gone a bit more tank heavy and obviously needed to spread/be sieged and he would've done pretty well I think.

Thing is, Sen was on 5 bases and is able to afford losing one to crush that army. He didn't end up sacrificing one because Rain engaged badly. Rain stopped upgrading at 2/2 as well. He's not that great in a macro game. He knows that, we know that, but he decided to go for a macro game and got owned.
Rain macro is fine, look his games in the Korean Weekly. The problem was that Thor are not very good roaches. They are fine if there are a few roaches but against a zerg maxed on roaches, they are trash. If he had more tanks, the roaches would have evaporated.

Absolutely not. TLO was up like 15 food but with largely roaches. When P is at like 120~ food like Mana was, a mass roach guy really wants to be maxed. That plus the hatch that died. TLO never wins from that spot.

Cmon if idra gg'd at that spot then everyone would be complaining about it. TLO still had 2 hatchs, and like 14 roachs on the way. I mean hell he could have at least tried to hold back the counterattack if it happened.

not at all. his drone count actually was pretty low. A better zerg would have around 60+ by 8 min but he only had around 55ish. he pushed out randomly and lost everything for almost just a few stalkers and a few roaches
he would lose to a counter attack because he didn't kill any colossus or just lose in a macro game

see this is what everyone hates though about idra..would the protoss have counter atked or just macroed up? I mean people complain when idra doesn't try or hold out till last atk, but for TLO its fine?
of course he would be behind, but he could have tried which is what everyone says about idra.
In my defense, I dont agree with most claims of Idra GG, even by Idra himself. Yeah TLO probably shoulda tried. But realistically he never wins that game, especially since (imo) Mana is the stronger player in the first place.

The fact that it's taking him this long to beat Mana...he's still got a lot of work to do.
No, it's the common sense fact that he's playing safe, which makes sense given the immobility of broodlords, rushing into heedlessly to push an advantage could expose yourself to a blunder that could be fatal.

WTF am I watching? I pop out after the Strelok match and come back to see there is this weird video playing and Rotterdam is in it! What next Frodan and Mr Bitter Party-Rock shuffling like LMFAO?
I haven't tuned into NASL since season 2, and I am very surprised to see completely over the top post-processing on the video signal. The quality used to be the best of all Starcraft 2 broadcasts, but now the saturation and contrast in game are so severe that it's difficult to see the details (is that some sort of light bloom effect I see too in the highlight real!?).
Please reconsider just giving us a high quality straight video stream. These effects are gimmicky and do not give you an advantage over competing streams. (ps it looks like the effects have been toned down as of late).
As a plus, it's very nice to see pro casters brought in.
Also, observing quality is a bit below average at this point. Mouse accuracy and screen movement are both distracting. But really, good job overall! Just wanted to give some feedback.
Recently HuK hasn't been too hot at PvT and Ganzi has been doing well in TvP but he just does not do too well against HuK for some reason. They were playing against each other on ladder yesterday and HuK had Ganzi's number there too.

I've noticed that. Ganzi gets idiot ray syndrome against HuK which is unfortunate, because Ganzi should've won that game decisively.

By live, nasl means the broadcast itself is live as in bitterdam is at the studio right now casting these games. Most are cast from replays, but some games are casted live.
On the contrary, most games are casted live, while the minority are replays (usually based on scheduling issues). In many cases, NASL reschedules matches to different days.

I guarantee you this game is LIVE. The maps are cloaked so there is no "Game Over" screen, so you'll never see it.
Then you should remove the overlay covering the replay bar.
The sponsor? Why would they do that, when they can plug their sponsors and just say that the game is being played live, which they did? Maybe don't assume they're lying when they say games are being played live.

them saying its live is confirmation. if they were lying, players would say so.
Series like this make me sure huk will be back in code A within 1-2 seasons for sure. He's damn near cheese proof which is what breaks so many other code A deserving players who slip down into that quagmire.

Which is why HuK got knocked out of Code A by a cheese? Ganzi proxying a CC is nothing special, everyone knows he does it in TvP.

Nah, NASL has been too dysfunctional to just take their word on it like that. The overlay is large specifically to cover the "Replay complete" text which is not necessary unless you are trying to conceal that you are casting replays.
I haven't used a stealth map but that is pretty convenient if they hide the victory screen and victory text that should appear, making it look like a replay. Why use these maps anyways if it is live? What are they trying to conceal?
HuK is great at early game aggression but past that his play has holes. A lot of Terrans - ie MKP - are meta-gaming him by being defensive early game and surviving until that mid and late game stage when HuK is weak.

You're getting into tinfoil hat territory, but on previous weeks there were some live games where pauses showed up on the screen, which doesn't happen for replays.
Cloaked maps are used because if the cast is off replay, people can spoil the results by reading off the results from the players' b.net profile. It's not reasonable to expect them to change between cloaked and uncloaked maps just because one person is overly suspicious.

Hey, all you fools thinking these are replays. Use your brains. Check the game history of the players, and you'll see that the maps are played realtime.

In that series, Mana did attack before 200/200 in a variety of ways (warp prism, zealot warpin attack, etc.). So the only "attack" you must be insinuating is some sort of 2 base all-in, in which it's silly to suppose that tlo would be in trouble because he was on top of his scouting all those games and wasn't excessively greedy, in fact sometimes having a lower drone count (such as game 3).
Regardless of that, however, that has nothing to do with the inherent fallaciousness in claiming that somehow the time it took for TLO to win is somehow reflective of his ZvP, since that time is indicative of nothing other than the particular strategy that TLO used. And, as shown, it was one that worked against Mana's - after all, it's obvious that TLO has played and beaten Mana before [dreamhack], so it's obviously something he knows works against Mana. Also, TLO wasn't merely playing 3 base rush greater spire since game 1 had him go for that 4th relatively soon, using the ling push to try to trick Mana into thinking that he was going heavy army to try to deny Mana's third.
Those suits the casters wear make the show so awkward for me. First time i tune in to NASL for a long time and this is the first thing that comes to mind: Bitterdam are normal people, not pimps.
I think if nasl reconsider those outfits they'll get to the unconciousness of their audience for the better and have more success. After all, a bunch of us are pretty nerdy and it doesn't feel like us nor dayly webtv esports... I'd like them to feel more relax. (Live events it's an other matter)

I like the suits! Don't presume to speak for everybody.

I like them, too. They do not feel like serious business at all with the dark shirt and light tie, so not at all out of place with a nerdy hobby, I feel.
Wow, it only took ~3 weeks for me to hate Bitterdam. Or at least Mr. Bitter. Seriously, you guys have to learn when to stop making the same joke/talking about the same off-topic thing.
It's sad, because you started the season out so well!

I'm neutral on the suits.
Actually, you're wrong on everything!
How can he be wrong about being neutral? I mean, he can be not right, but I'm not sure he can be wrong.
Edit: Also, I don't mind the suits but the ties are pretty gawdy.
