That's how Sheth beat Polt at MLG and how Violet almost beat him at Lone Star. I don't know why he didn't know that Polt always walls off his third on Daybreak.

Polt just played better. Good 2-2 timing before Hive, Ret morphed broods and that bought him time, but then Polt went and killed him because there wasn't much of anything supporting them.

In what universe is ret ahead in this game?
Some people don't understand SC2. Don't waste your typing, not worth it.
Hahaha jesus christ talk about revisionist superiority, he literally loses one engagement that wasn't observed and ended up getting flanked where he wouldn't have been otherwise and suddenly he was MILES BEHIND AND HAD NO CHANCE, despite being equal on upgrades until right at the end when he missed 3 armour, was ahead on tech and supply for nearly the entire game. You really get SC2 bro, you get it so fucking well.
ret had control over polt when he backstabbed the third, but he lost focus of the northern high ground and let polt set up a great siege position. polt had an unbreakable position at a key position, encroaching on ret's third and fourth bases. polt only needed to minimize the amount of damage an attack on the south end could do and he would be able to continually push into the north side and weaken ret's economy.
