Well, it's not that hard to roughly follow the build-orders just by watching, but there are always small details in builds/mindgames when games are played at this high level. And that is something where casters can come in, because they should (given that it's their job) be able to explain those details. I don't follow the scene closely enough to know all the styles of the players and the meta-game developments in Korea.

Honestly he just said Tasteless knows a ton of RTS; and if you are trying to say he wasn't knowledgeable in BW, then you are simply wrong.
Tasteless might not be the most knowledgeable of all SC2 casters, but he knows when and where to focus and his commentary is (as we all know) more play-by-play with Artosis as the analysis support.

You compare an event where he probably wasn't even watching the game.
Such amazing play by virus, picking up the medivac as soon as the hatch died, splitting in such a tiny window of time vs so many banelings, every terran that saw this knows that they would be dead and gone.
