On a different note: The range to cast Seeker missiles is just too short, you will always lose some ravens and they are too expensive to be used as suicide units. Off topic: I agree, don't know why its so short ranged. Almost all Caster units can cast their spells at a reasonable distance, Raven is to expensive to risk them

In my opinion, it's the corruptors you want to target with seeker missile. Once they are out of the picture, your vikings can deal with the broodlords a lot easier than being hit by 200hp corruptors plus infestor fungals.

I just feel like squirtle wont hang long time on the top tier of player, skillwise, once he'll be quite figured out with his build.

MC, I don't know he's either more efficient at forcefielding or something but he's the only guy I've seen consistently beating Stephano's style. Seen many MC-esque 2 base timings from other players, but when not in his hands Stephano seems to stomp them down.

So it's a super expensive investment for Seeker Missle which also requires research. Second, each Raven can fire a maximum of 1 seeker missle per energy bar, and 1 seeker missle doesn't do anything to something that has much health as Brood Lords even if they're slow. So. You need multiple ravens firing multiple Seeker missles to cause any damage to a Brood Lord army and considering their gas cost and the fact they come only from a tech labbed starport, each Raven you make is that many Vikings you CAN'T make. In general Seeker Missle is just a risky solution at best and that's assuming you manage to even get a Seeker Missle off. ![]() Oh I see.

Almost all Caster units can cast their spells at a reasonable distance, Raven is to expensive to risk them Because Seeker Missle is stupidly designed. Unlike the other spells in the game that are all essentially damage over time effects Seeker Missle is burst damage. This means that it benefits much more from chain casting than Storm or Fungal Growth does. You can eradicate entire expensive armies with JUST Seeker Missles theoretically in a way you just can't do with Storm or Fungal Growth so it makes it very difficult to balance. It's either potentially overpowered or it's worthless. As it stands now with its energy cost, range, and cost of the Raven it's edging on the worthless side.

In BlizzCup, it was a Bo1 and Stephano just roach all-ined against an FFE on Dual Sight. But yes, in general MC is the guy who has never dropped a map to Stephano in PvZ. But that might be because MC is (IMO) the best PvZer in the world right now.
