Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament. Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool. Thanks! |

He basically does a build and wants HIS opponent to play how he play, which is not what zerg is.I don't know, I really feel idra screwed up being zerg in sc2. In broodwar, he had this style of turtling in his base till 200/200 and pushing out. Which is like how the current protoss is, he should switch to protoss.
couldn't have said it better myself. he seems too greedy to even willing to sacrifice couple of lings to gain xel naga tower vision. as a zerg you need to be on top of your scouting unless you are as good as DRG but even he loses to "surprises" here and there (Genius' 2 base blink stalker all in during GSL final was a good one.....actually I take it back DRG was on top of scouting in that game it was just Genius was so good at denying scout and feeding DRG the wrong info....a true evil Genius!)

Team kills are never fun for the players.
I much rather face them in the finals.

Only other non-korean that is the favorite to get through to that point is Ret and he will have to beat the winner of Golden/Rain so even that isn't too likely. Ret and Haypro are in the top20 already.

I stopped watching Halo a while ago (Reach is terrible) but well when you're down 49-45 and suddenly you kill the entire team to tie it at 49-49, the crowd goes insane. Hasn't been a game that good since early H3. Well it was also the biggest team in Halo against a team people have been hyping to win this event putting on 5 close games so at the end the crowd was going to go nuts. That too, Instinct has a ton of fans. But I think the crowd would've gone nuts regardless of it being Instinct or not. Haven't watched Halo in a while (yeah Reach does suck) but that sounds insane. Especially been disconnected to it cause I haven't really paid attention since the H3 days. Still a big fan of pistola though (have been since before he broke out with TD in H3). Hope he does well. If Reach dies after this MLG season I hope they'll pick up Halo 4 anyway, from what I've heard from my friends in the scene 343 has done good things with Reach (allowing removal of bloom, etc.) so I think they could do an even better job with it than Bungie.
I used to watch and play A LOT of Halo back when it was good (aka Halo 1 / 2). I'm pretty sure I can still BxR pretty well if I went back to H2 :p I played H3 quite a bit as well, but it was never as good as the predecessors. Didn't even bother to get reach. Between AoK / Age 3 & Halo 2...I really didn't play any other games. If anyone needs a good analogy think of Halo 1 as BW and Halo 2 as almost BWish and H3 and Reach as being worse than SC2. So many good memories with Halo 2.

People are so quick to judge IdrA, because he's IdrA. He lost 0-2 to Polt, it's fucking Polt, this guy is a TOP Code S player and a super tournament winner, but here's something you'll understand: 'Polt beats Stephano more often than Stephano beats him' Lag probably frustrated IdrA so much that he mis-micro'd and lost all of his queens, IdrA was also super unlucky to see the marines that made a little timing with his ling run-by into natural.
Wait, Polt beats IdrA and suddenly he's TOP CODE S SUPER TOURNAMENT WINNER again? I thought he was just a Code B scrub who had to be welfared into Code S because his TvZ sucked so much...

Do people really think stephano is American btw or is this some kind of well spread trolling :p ive seen American flags before his name aswell as alot of people hinting at him being American. Hes french btw ;D. Sheth is arguably playing better than IdrA lately since IdrA has had a pretty poor 2012 so far

Indeed, I think this is a good way to remind those people of how long way foreigners still have infront of them before they can compete against them! They've been competing against them for a while now.
And losing, it's just a few of the foreigners that seem to be able to compete against them reguarly.

yeah but all foreigners come from pool and most are in the lower brackets. big chance there will be only 2 foreigners in the top 16 and none in the top 8.

stephano is french, pretty sure

So much negativity about IdrA as always. He beat Inori, which is a good enough result. He's not really expected to beat Polt and JYP.

It's his control and his unwillingness to carry out his advantage by making units instead of economy that consistently puts him in bad position.

Golden, Select, Puma, Polt -> the four korean horsemen that will mow down every foreigner in the lowerbracket until they hit their own countrymen.

Just woke up, holy crap Sheth beat Polt? Sad to see him gone now. D:
And shit yeah, mah boy CrazyMovinG. <3 Gogogo!

But if the Halo crowd keeps this up it'll start rivaling the SC2 crowd in intensity and it won't be dropped until 4 comes out. I just hope H4 is like the originals, not Reach.
What changed in Halo: Reach? I don't know anything about it, but I find it hard to believe a console FPS game can change all that much.
