Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament. Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool. Thanks! |

Yeah let's compare Polt to MMA who is one of the fastest players in the world and then conclude that Polt is slow...

Sheth beats Polt, brace yourself for Sheth better than Stephano, Polt is playing bad, out of shape comments.

Probably thus far, yes. hell na. Haypro over Naniwa is the biggest upset by far. Sheth over Polt isn't a big upset. Sheth is very good and Polt is way overhyped because of his recent finals with Stephano. If Sheth had beaten Alive or MKP, yea I'd say a huge upset, but definitely not Polt. There's something about MLGs though that brings out the best in Haypro The banjo is strong in MLG.

I actually predicted Sheth beating Polt.
Of course there's no liquibet or anything so I can't really prove it. :/

Sheth, EU zergs respresenting <3.

You mean because medivacs costs twice as much? Cuz of supply block? Uhm? Just prepare for losing the overlords and rebuild before you lose them, or control them so you don't lose to many (ie fly away with them after dropping.
The supply block shouldn't be to big of a deal.
I promise you, a terran losing a medivac full of marines have lost more than a zerg losing an overlord full of zerglings.

Holy fuck, Artosis looks like a friggin super villain and tasteless as if he had the roughest night of his life :D

From what I can see you do NOT fall into the same LB as those previously knocked down from your WB. Which would be great for Stephano/Polt. Crossing my fingers.

Seriously tho, you shouldn't loose your overlords when you drop. I see a lot of high level players that just leave a couple of overlord behind each time and that is really hurting them.
Doesn't cost gas and they're a lot tankier than medivacs.

Congrats on JYP for his spot in pool play then...

Didn't he say that the reason he doesn't mech is because its too hard? I remember him saying that a while ago in GSL, when they were interviewing him about his style. That obviously doesn't mean he is slow but maybe its related.

If Polt plays like this he will lose to a top zerg sooner or later..grats Sheth

Really nice play from Sheth, while Polt seems unimpressive. Will be so sad if Polt and Stephano have to eliminate each other this early. Not sure how it works for this MLG, but in most tournaments they would end up on opposite ends of the bracket. Yeah. They should, but it wasnt always the case for MLG (Alicia - ToD). But Polt and Stephano are actually in opposite sites of the bracket! Phew.
In fact, the more rounds there are, the more chances you have to drop in the same part of the bracket since there's a rollover every few rounds. It's a cycle. But in two consecutive rounds ? Not in the same bracket for SURE.

Yes I think that's exactly right, both Stephano and Polt have this massively lategame oriented styles which is why when they clash they both seem so even... And also why Stephano got crushed by the helion/marauder mix he wasn't expecting from Polt.

Just look at Polt's replays from ASUS, he's slow by Korean standards.

That was because ToD lost an even number of rounds later. Polt lost right after Stephano, so they go on the other side of the bracket

EG teamkill will be coming up when JYP/Idra face off.

With Idra seemingly mirroring Stephano, I wouldn't count him out. Stephanos ZvP is much scarier than his ZvT
