Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament. Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool. Thanks! |

I don't mind, there's always a game I want to view, so whether it's 1 game or 4 games at the same time, I don't mind.
Also, ThorZain has one of his SCVs on follow.

Guy is obviously good, but people hyping him up as best ZvP in the world, code S etc. is just silly..... the hardest opponent he has beaten for his championships is polt. Now Polt is good too, but he's just another GSL average Terran imo... GSL average Terran who has won a GSL? How is a GSL winner just average? He won it by playing exclusively TvTs, his TvZ has always been average. You're thinking of MMA, who only had TVTs on his path to the finals. Pretty sure Polt had a more varied ride to the finals.
Only non Terrans he beat were Losira, HuK and Alicia.

Hahaha you seem to have confused Polt with MMA genius.

What happend that Stephano lose in a PvZ ? Fatigue ? Fatigue after beating 2 no names and Polt, after grinding shit tons of games every day for a year? I don't think so While I agree with you mostly, you forget about flight and possibilty of jet lag. It is not as black and white as you make it out to be. sorry he has been in the us for a while He had to eat all that american food though. Didn't you see Hotbid's interview. The steaks are TWICE as big! and too much ketchup and mayonnaise
it's his fault... like hotbid said he didnt have to eat it all he could have saved for later

2 fan fav's favored to win the whole thing facing elimination in round 8 of 9 lower bracket rounds before even reaching the Champ bracket let alone the end of Saturday Favoured because they're fan favourites. In reality? This is no upset. It is an upset. Everyone saying otherwise doesn't follow the scene. Put HuK into the open bracket and not into the group of luck and lets see if the all praised player can be top 6 as well. Its just blatant bullshit to call Stephano hyped now, because he lost 2 series in total, to Polt / Inori. Stephano was over hyped prior to this MLG because Wheat and Scoots called for him to win the entirety of MLG from the OB. Even as a person who really enjoys Stephano's play and thinks that he is the best foreigner, there is no way that wasn't over-hyping. The moment they said it, I knew and feared that Stephano was going to get demolished, and really he did - he lost to the first good Terran he came across and the first good Protoss he came across. It's just two matches, and it is an upset. But that's because the hype train was running way too fast. And i would like to know how was is frame of mind for this competition. I heard his manager saying "anyway there s no chance to win this when you come from the bracket" so dunno.... But i may be biased :D Some people focus way too much on results.... Just look at Stephano vs Polt. Those were some of the best ZvT games since... Lonestar. Stephano has the best macro, gas timing, map awareness, drone timing and lategame control/management of any foreigner zerg and most zergs period. His zvt still needs to be tested against true S-Class terrans and his ZvP as well, but the seeds of greatness are there. He also has a penchant for sick comebacks. When Leenock went on his legendary MLG run his opponents in the open bracket were incredibly easy compared to the open bracket today. How unlucky was it for Stephano to hit Polt, who's been practicing his PvStephno match up like crazy. He lost a close series and got metagamed. Stephano had a winning record coming into his match vs Inori. We don't know how those games went either, did either of them cheese? Did Inori win with a macro game? Were they razor close games or walk overs? Lastly, bo3's don't determine skill level. If someone wins a Bo3 series you say they played better that series. Even if Stephano had WON this MLG and beat DRG on his way to his championship you would say that Stephano was on a hot run, and that even though he had beaten DRG it doesn't mean his zvz, zvt or zvp is better...
How was Leenock's run easier than Stephano. he took oz 2:0 on OB, drewbie, State and Gatored (back then he just came from IEM, beating DRG and Top) and then he went to beat MMA, MVP, HuK, Naniwa and DRG from Loser's Bracket to finals. That makes no sense!

DRG wouldn't even have gotten Code S if it wasn't for MLG due to JYP beating him with warp-in prism storms. That was also back when DRG's weakest match up was ZvP though. It was also GSL August which was 7 months ago. That's like saying HerO beating DRG in the preliminaries for GSL July is still a relevant victory when looking at them now
Anyone catch Stephano's practice games vs JYP? They were really entertaining. I hope DRG crushes JYP the same way Stephano did. There aren't any other zergs I really like left besides Symbol and Sleep. I was really cheering on Morrow as well cause he ZvT (and TvZ) is so sick, too bad he lost.

Hey, don't say that like I'm some kind of stupid fanboy. I'm just wondering because Stephano going out of a tournament with a PvZ is unusual. It's not me who opened a discussion on TL on how to beat Stephano in this match up.
