There's no way anyone can pretend Huk is macro focused player. He's not and never has been. Collossus is in fact probably the most effective counter to a delayed 1/1/1, which will have an extremely high marine count. 1 gate Nexus into robo is probably the most standard PvT build atm and can hold a 1/1/1. Generally they'll chrono out Immortals, which are great vs tanks and then tech to Collossus once they have a few Immortals. The problem with defending a 1/1/1 is that there are so many potential variations, with lots of different timings and the ratio of units a protoss needs changes depending on the variation. For example, if the Terran gets a Raven you want less stalkers because the Raven will point defence drones and tanks will kill everything before they die, but you need a lot of stalkers against a banshee heavy build or they'll kill all the anti air and then kill everything else. The worst thing you can do against a 1/1/1 is 1 base. On a saturated 1 base a Terran can mine more because MULES can mine over SCVs, so their economy is actually better. | ||
