yea it's possible but you need a lot of banelings

The really can't whine about build order losses when your play is ridiculously gimmicky.

oh so Elfi has tobeat MC to qualify haha
gutted.. however good he is at PvP... playing MC is just as unpredictable as Elfis PvP!!!

Yep, negates the Archons killing the broods because the banelings instantly explode and kill them "Units released from the Vortex are then immune to damage for 1.5 seconds."

You can. You have to be really careful though and not have all your banelings detonate during the 1.5 seconds or so that the archons are invulnerable to the attacks of the banelings.
On top of that if you get your banelings stormed you're completly screwed.

IIRC the Battle.net advertisements of tournaments isn't a direct stream link, and isn't as prominent as the LoL in-client stream link.

Some players have experimented with it, but it's not exactly cost efficient and very risky to do lategame. Going mass banelings is really really larvae intensive.

Blizzard doesn't promote SC2 that much, although they really should. Also the IEM LoL tournament seems much more hyped up than the IEM SC2 tournament. Not saying the prize pool isn't insane, but it had tons of cancels and the hype just isn't there. Yeah, with all the cancellations, the apparently bad accommodation, the dull location (Brazil was coool), etc, I just cant bring myself to care about this tournament, despite it's importance.
Why on earth would accommodation standards affect your decision to not care about the tournament in the slightest?

On March 07 2012 01:01 theBALLS wrote: game over. build order win It was a bad situation for White-Ra but it's his fault for continuing with it after seeing that Grubby went Phoenix. He started the Warp Prism and the speed upgrade after seeing them.

White Ra and his speed prism build.
It's like six pooling a Terran and claiming build order loss when he walls off.

I care about this tournament. It has MMA and MC and a big prize pool, it's legit.

The point remains the same. Today we wouldnt have had 110 k stream viewers if blizzard put a stream link in there, simply because the amount of (casual) players in sc2 is just way smaller. This isn't that bad, as sc2 is mainly a 1v1 competitive title, which can scare people off of playing regularly.

WOW we can get a 5way tie at 3-2.
That requires the following though. 1| WhiteRa wins this game against Grubby.
And in the next round. 2| elfi wins against MC. 3| Nerchio wins against Grubby. 4| WhiteRa wins against HasuObs.

look at that perfect unexplored square on the minimap, pretty coo
edit:
aww xel'naga ruined it
