And back in slavery times, it wasn't uncommon for white's to call blacks "boy" to disrespect them. It's not really a racial slur though, just a general way to disrespect someone. The fact that it was commonly used racially doesn't mean that it is always a racial insult. Even if used towards a black person, it doesn't necessarily mean you disrespect them because they're black. | ||
